Could well be worth picking up, as said, as an understudy to SS. Quite highly regarded from what I read when I first seen this link, obviously not by Arsenal but hey ho, it could be their loss.

On the other thread Rangers are getting slagged for signing unknown international players and the above we are looking at Arsenal rejects

Arsenal youth players of late have been nothing but average so personally hope we look for better.

{Ed007's Note - He's hardly an Arsenal reject, they were trying to get him to sign a new deal to fend off interest from Everton and Borussia Dortmund but like most young players these days he was looking for guaranteed game time which Arsenal wouldn't give. Have a read around the 'net and you'll see how highly rated he is by Arsenal, their fans and the England set up but here's a start:

Kev T, I think there is a slight difference, Rangers have one or two Middle of the SPL type players on books . We have 15 or so players that wouldn't be found wanting in the Champions League . We need to buy a couple really top of our range players . and so we can also buy for future .
Rangers need to buy more than a dozen players better than they have, or they have no future . They also have to buy these players for nothing as they have no money.

The "ranjurs" must be getting moneybags from somewhere having paid £1.5mil for Herrera. Not that they'll cause us many problems next year but they can finish second with Aberdeen having to i rebuild.
