Hearing that we're close to signing this croation defender ED,any news? Talkin 6m euros!! Surely not mate? And if so why the f**k did we not spend sum decent money before the CL qualifier! Would rather we spent this kind of money on a striker if it was true! Not that I believe it is.

Ed see what is really annoying me as much as a love big virgil everybody knew he was getting sold this summer why not just move him on get few players in for pre season with the money surley we would have had a better chance of qualifying for the champions league with a few new additions with the sale of vvd

The fact we went into the CL qualifiers with Griffiths and Ciftci as our main strikers is just ripping the pi$$ out of us supporters, it's a damned disgrace and the buck stops on the heated driveway o the club's highest paid employee - Peter Lawwell, a man who is better paid than some CEOs in the EPL and better paid than any of our players, that's unheard of at other clubs.}

Sad to say but got to agree with you guys, sad to see what's happening at parkhead. We pay money to come and watch so why no re pay us paying fans with some proper entertainment. We're not asking for Messi we just need some guys to light up the game and get the fans back and bring back "the thunder".

I said exactly the same thing months ago. I would have sold VVD first at the start of preseason and brought in 2 new centre backs at that time. They would then have had the preseason ges to build up an understanding in time for the qualifiers.

Maybe we will learn from this but I doubt it.

Well if West Ham are in for him then I'm pretty sure we are fucked. Then it will be the same old story of aw we really tried to get him but we can't compete with the epl. Should have been sorted out BEFORE we went out of the champions league.

I think that Celtic and Scotland is not necessary the favourite place many of our targets wish to go to . Maybe we have to wait until the closing days of the window for us to land any of our targets .
I wouldn't be surprised if our board or Mr Lawwell were slow at doing the business, but on the other hand it might be the agents and players holding out for better than Glasgow .
