I'm Irish & it prob is that but he cudn the experience we need at the back but shay given is a def no no he's finished jus wish we kept him when we had him 2bh! regib11

Kbt1978 your correct although I'd go further. What is the obsession with all players Irish. Of all the Irish players we have been linked with I'd take nil. Even the recent Irish/NI players we have had barring McGeady and Stokes although not as much have been way below what we want or need. Go Youth or relatively unknown foreigners, if it's not broke! Would be happy with that team. only thing would be get better centre backs. surely their is some good cb in Europe that have done it all and wouldn't break the bank to get them.
