That looks like a 4 4 2 Ed?

{Ed007's Note - I thought 3-1-4-2, Jamie but I'm just waiting on the official site to see...

Great goal and great start.

Mulumbu playing well.

Both goals could of been cleared absolute pish, lustig just stopped at second goal keep running and put it out and Gordon could of jumped on ball instead jumped in sane spot absolute amateurs.

As much as hendry was good on Saturday, him and Lustig were hopeless tonight.

Up against far better players than Saturday. What is wrong with Scottish clubs and spotting players RB didn't spend a lot of money putting that side together and I doubt they are paid a fortune either.

You are joking Molly, I'm sure they have at least 5 players that cost in the 10 to 15 million price bracket.

{Ed007's Note - RB Salzburg aren't owned or controlled by Red Bull any longer and they don't - or ever did - have any players anywhere near that price range.
Munas Dabbur joined last summer and is their record signing at 6.2 million Euros, followed by Erling Braut Haland who joined them this year for 4 million Euros - they spent a total of 10.7 million Euros on 6 players this summer while bringing in 39 million Euros in outgoing fees.}

Apologies, I was looking the other night but it was current market value of their players not transfer fees paid I was looking at.

Only 89 more days until the January transfer window opens 👏.

Same old story that we already no, lustig is shot to bits and Henry is Dundee level natchm has a twin brother that plays rugby and we never know who is turning up, benkovic is a beast and makes a massive difference, malumbu is a beast too and I'd probably play him over natchm who is up and Down more than a lift, mcgregor he played terrible tonight, Forrest was playing RB so not easy for him, once boyata and benko go in the summer and commper has been released we will have Henry and ajar very scary, we need a quality rb 2 cbs and a striker and two wingers and am and cm while they are their replace Gordon too so 9 new players I think lol! No ask much but from what I can see we will need them especially to start playing better in Europe this lot are out of their depth and shot to bits severely, buy wisely we could do it cheap lots of other teams manage like red bull Salzburg, but for god sake look abroad instead of in the spfl just pure laziness and no more crocks just young talented fast strong players that can pass a ball, we parked the bus tonight and still got destroyed Brendan needs to find a formation and stick with it no matter what the quality he chops and changes too much play mickey j more and Morgan the young lads look fiery and fast that's what we need in attack.

It's not about the fees so much as the wages they can offer. You can offer to pay a club 6 million for a player. If another club does the same but offer double to player it won't matter how much your willing to pay the club. Our club for its size worldwide of support can't compete in wages with the likes of reading, Brighton, Burnley etc. . Think how difficult it must be to convince a seasoned player in his prime to choose us? Our model which enables us to get young players and allow them to develop with the occasional experienced loanee is the reality. The days of marquee signings are gone. We grab players on their way up improve them make a profit and it begins again. . I personally prefer to see young exciting players instead of old legends with no fire in the belly. We had a disappointing transfer window. January will be telling in more ways than one. We will win the league and maybe a cup hopefully. But in truth up until now we didn't have any real competition. We now have a league full of quality managers. I will enjoy the ups and downs as it just makes the ups all the sweeter. Winning all at a canter turns people off, crowds dwindle when we win easily. When we lose a couple of games crowds dwindle. Sad really. . People will come and people will go our club will always prevail. HAIL HAIL.

{Ed007's Note - The last figures I can see show that RB Salburg have a wage bill of 32.7m Euros p.a, that's about £29 million less than Celtic.}

That just points out it's down to recruitment and management then. There's plenty of leagues we can sign players from and pay better wages. And it goes down to tactics and getting the best out of what you have which right now we aren't doing.
