Getting slightly concerned that we are now no longer getting linked with players. Trimming the fat from the squad is all well and good but we need to getting players in and bedded into the team for the CL qualifiers. 1st round should be simple enough but we could be out after the 2nd round if we are not careful.

For all the years I've been following Celtic. I can't recall them ever going out and spending serious cash from a position of strength.

I probably say this each window but I am sure we have players in mind and talks are going on about bringing them in. Personally at present I would like us to bring in 3 new players a CB a playmaker and a right back not so gifted at some on hear to mention names so not going to attempt to say who, But I hope there will be some movement. As to be honest present team good enough for the league but can't see us get far in CL IF we get that far depending on draw with the same players.

Only time we broke the biscuit tin mentality during MON. Was when the Zombies were in front.
Martin's first season was the only season we spent heavily.
I said from a position of strength. i've been going home/ away from late 80s. Can't recall anytime we've been in front. Serious money has been spent.
