He’s hurt his shoulder and is going back to Chelsea for a checkup.

"I am not aware of that being happening at this point. At the end of the season then it is likely if the clubs agree. I understand that the player did speak with TAF [Tore Andre Flo] a few weeks ago and TAF spoke with Rodgers - I assume it was about the lack of game time but I don't know. Celtic has paid for 18 months but Chelsea will find somewhere else to send him if it isn't working out."
