The new arsenal manager will have to hit the ground running.
There will be no developing players.
No philosophy.
No excuses.
There fans will want trophies.
I don't think that fits with BR ethos.
His next target for Celtic will be last 16 if we make it to the CL.
Hopefully there is still a year or 2 left for him with us.
However a bit of class by DD. we will handcuff No one.

I disagree with your ethos. Arsenal have always given their managers a good chance to prove themselves. At least 3 years, However they are now looking at leagues bigger than Scotland That is their mistake BR would be great for them but as all foreign owned PL clubs, they cannot see further than the end of their face.

Wenger has won 3 titles in 22years. most of which were head to head with man Utd. no strong liverpool or city in those years.
Arsenal fans are fed up with the notion Wenger was a master of the beautiful game.
BR tries to make players and clubs better. that is really were his success has come.
The strength of the big English clubs means there managers will not be given time to create and develop teams. its instant success.
I just think BR loves being in control of all the football decision. he will not get that in England or the time to create and develop.
He will leave one day. but I not so sure it will be to England.

Brendan Rodgers wants to be here for 10 in a row he has a bit of an ego which is no bad thing all top sportsmen do. As a fan of the club he has stated numerous times he loves it here he is living a boyhood dream he wants to go down in the club he supports history for a trually massive event and that bhoys is 10 in a row! Arsenal will do as they have done recently win her jaw down there as they can’t compete with Utd citeh and chelski? Just from memory, I think Arsenal were pretty adept at getting rid of their managers who were not quite reaching the lofty levels set by the board, before Wenger came in and took the club by storm .

If he leaves us after the first club come in for him it will not go down well with me st least. I hope he stays, but I agree with Dermot, if he wants to go, let him.
