Whatever self confidence hayes has is slowly but surely getting shouted out of him when he plays left wing back, he should play AM where so much of his game attributes are better served. Yesterday he was nullified and struggled but when he moved into the middle for an attack at pace and had the opportunity to go either direction he looked like the player I thought we were buying from Aberdeen and he slipped a perfect pass for idouard who should have scored. i know we have mcgregor and rogic but similar to Armstrong if you play players out of position they look like bad players if you try and shoehorn them into a position for game time. Plus ntcham needs either bitton or kouassi a ball winning holding midfielder next to him if brown isn't there he strugggles otherwise.

Hayes didn't play in middle for Aberdeen. So playing in there would be playing him out of position.

If you'd read my comment you'd see I never said he played AM I'm saying that's were most of his attributes would be suited to play if you were at the game on Saturday you'd know what I was talking about he's never going to get a game playing where Sinclair is as he's playing out his skin. he's either a direct replacement for Sinclair or he could play through the middle in AM.
