According to sources we have opened formal talks about signing Steven Caulker if we could get him over the line he could be a great signing I know he is battling his demons and Rodgers had vowed to help him with these.

If ever there was a place to help someone in need it's Celtic Park. We would soon have the lad not only loving football again but loving life again. Seen him a few times and he looked like a strong no nonsense type CB so I hope we can get this deal done he will thrive at CP and be a great addition to our team.

Is there actually any truth in the caulker rumours? No doubting the guys ability, but I read his article online and he's been In a really bad place lately! Is he even fit enough to play? I know Brendan says he's supporting the lad but has it got as far as actually trying to sign him?
On another note, I think he's to be admired for being so open about his struggles! To many people keep this stuff bottled up instead of seeking help! Whatever happens I hope he gets through it and gets rid of his demons!
