Ed007 just heard that Christie will not be leaving on a permanent but will be going back to the dons on loan.
You heard anything similar?
{Ed007's Note - The talk was that Christie would go back to them on loan before all this Jonny Hayes stuff started but with Sunderland looking at McInnes - Walter Smith is advising them - Christie isn't keen to commit until he knows who the Dons boss will be.}

Typical of Smith . If he can't help his own shower of Sh£te he'll try and disrupt their challengers.
{Ed007's Note - That's exactly my thoughts too mate, wtf can a dinosaur like Smith offer as advice. As soon as I heard he was involved I knew that he would recommend McInnes, who else is he going to put forward, The Slug?}

Walter Smith advising them Ed? Why because Martin Bain is at Sunderland if so that's another joke? fur fox sake they must be some knitting needles to make a cardigan to cover here to the north of England!
{Ed007's Note - I'd imagine there's an earner in it for Smith as a consultancy fee from his old partner in EBT tax crimes Bain.}

I never took the Hayes transfer serious Ed I took it as paper talk but it seems to be happening is that the case mate?
Also Borini, now gathering momentum too is he next? (Y)
{Ed007's Note - I'm still not believing the Hayes story. There was all sorts of rumours yesterday about him having talks with Lawwell and/or Rodgers, he was seen at CP and Lennoxtown etc etc even though he's back over in Ireland.
Borini isn't going to happen, it's just made up.}

I read borini had a fall out with the gaffer and slagged him in the press.
{Ed007's Note - Borini refused to leave for Sunderland in a permanent switch after his initial loan deal and Rodgers forced him to to train on his own away from the first team.
"I’m a proud person, but after a while I understood there was no future there and knew I just needed to accept it. Training alone was the hardest thing but they were pushing me away, forcing me to make the decision to go.
"Maybe I didn’t get as many opportunities as I deserved but the world doesn’t end when you leave Liverpool and now I’m very happy here. I’ve had too many clubs, too many changes, so I want to stay at Sunderland, to have some stability.
On Rodgers he said: "We don’t speak anymore. It’s sad. It ended badly between me and him, it’s not what I wanted."

That is amazing that Sunderland are taking advice from Smith Have they no ambition?

Ed has there been any news about the young Chelsea lad that was supposedly shown around Celtic Park, Will we be more eager to get a deal done now that his team mate Solanke chose Liverpool or is it a case of waiting for a definate answer regarding Roberts before making a move. I can't recall his name but pretty sure he was a right winger that can also play as a striker.
{Ed007's Note - Charly Musonda? Chelsea are offering him to Monaco as part of a deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko.}

That's the one cheers Ed, zero chance of that happening then.
{Ed007's Note - Doesn't look like it, we never did find out if the tour actually happened though did we? It was just rumoured to be him.}

Aye if we were to believe in every rumour we heard we would have a squad big enough to compete at the Olympics.
{Ed007's Note - :-D
