It looks like the Onyekuru deal is now highly unlikely with the price sitting around £7M (according to reports) . I can't help but think if BR had wanted him enough then we would have paid the money for him in January, or did we maybe gamble on getting him for cheap this summer and his recent form has put a spanner in the works?

His form took a nose dive since his little episode with Eupen. I would have took a chance on him but not at 7m.

His form has been fantastic in the play-offs JimTim which is why so many teams are after him now. I agree that his strop definitely was a worry. Not for me at that kind of money.

Sorry Kev that probably should have said his form took a dive 'after' he went walkabouts. The point I was trying to make was about his attitude. The first rag that tries to unsettle him in January, would he go awol from us? Talented player no doubt but serious questions over his attitude, especially at 7m, even more especially when we know how important attitude and dedication is to BR.

Arsenal now favs to sign him. Lad clearly has ability but he does sound abit of a bad egg attitude wise. Still only young so more thatn likely would mature. Think the ship has sailed with this one though now.7 million id rather have paddy back for good.
