This would be mental. He's actually been playing regularly for a very good side at that age and has had some of Europe's top clubs watching him.

Think it would take a lot to get him. If the rumours has any truth in it I'd imagine we're really pushing the boat out and actually trying to challenge top teams again! Hopefully this is what is going to happen. The onyekuru rumour aswell, seems a great player.

It was reported by one of those "Ex-Agent" types on Twitter so I'd definitely take it with a pinch of salt. Would be terrific though!

I'd like to think you're right Ken. My guess would be that Sarr will be valued at an 8-digit figure though.
As for Onyekuru, the Express (quite reliable as far as papers go) reckon that Eupen want £3-4m for him. Always makes me wonder how a paper would know that, but I'd gladly pay that figure for him. He mainly plays on the left but if he was ok playing on the right he'd be miles ahead of Forrest for me. As would Paddy though if we signed him permanently. One of the two would do me just fine.

I agree JimTim and Kev! The right side of the pitch is definetley an area we need to strengthen. Wether that be in permanently signing Paddy Roberts, or pushing the boat out and signing a prospect or a proven Right Winger. We need something in that area, especially for the European Qualifiers in the summer

Spot on Jim n ken, Roberts needs to start every game, we will be able to get him for a good fee, ed confirmed city wouldn't be difficult to deal with, certainly in terms of his future value 5 to 6 million would be a steal, he would be well worth it, magic player.
As for other signings, happy with whoever Brendan brings in, we r now looking at a better class of player n paying better wages for the right type of player, Ed n a few others have been banging on about this for a while n u not only get a better quality of player but if team improvss n competition for places improvss n it's a win win.

Re Roberts. Its not about City being hard to deal with that's the issue, its another cash rich lower EPL teams paying more money than we can! You look at some of the fees teams down there pay for average English players in some cases just to have enough in the squad to meet the homegrown rules (ie City with Delph and Sinclair) . It will be a tough if not impossible ask IMO to get him pernamently but I would definitely settle with another season loan
