I honestly can't see why he doesn't start ahead of Forrest. Forrest started the season quite well but he seems to be going missing again in games . Roberts always seems to create something for us .

Rodgers has never shied away from admitting he doesn't like loans. He prefers to develop talent he has as they will stay. If we do succeed in keeping PR i would expect to see a shift in favour to him over JF

plenty use. he's good enough to go another year on loan and if he helps us into champions league again, he'll have done plenty. sign him permanently, say six million. maybe sell him a year on for ten-twelve.
or keep him one more year on loan, get champions league having paid a small fraction of the fee and still get the cl cash.

The boy is going to be a seriously good player, one which would normally be beyond our reach.
Having him with us another year is better than him going at the end of the season.

Apart from Forrest looking a bit stronger physically, the only reason I think he's been getting in ahead of Paddy is that he's 'our player'. Hopefully getting Roberts in permanently will see a shift in that.
