Rumours of us being close to signing Jozo Simunovic for €6 million. Have we finally realised that you can't sell a player for £12million and replace him with a someone for £500k and still be as good a team?

Was just going to ask ED, have u heard anymore about this deal? Seen it mentioned a few times tonight now that it looks like this deal could be happening.

I do hope so, hope he picks us would be a step in the right direction, I also hope the board don't think this is enough as we all know what we really need.

The price of a player is totally irrelevant. The ability to do the job that he is bought for is all that matters .

Old Bhoy, VVD has just been called up to the Dutch national squad, who's going to come in for pennies and fill that gap? There's players out there who we could get for cheap that have the potential to be class but we're losing a top defender so we need to try and fill that void with some pedigree.
