Anyone seen the Dinamo Zagreb defender Jozo Simunovic we have been linked with? Seen a lot of papers repoting the same thing since the weekend and today is saying Pedro currently tavelling to Croatia to ty and finalise a deal? 21 years old, 6'3 and rated at million

Dunno why with Zagreb on the cusp of qualifying for the CL groups he would be cup tied oif we both qualified. Hardly as if we need a £4m defender for the SPL and PL couldn't get him on the shop window just playing SPL.

Could you see us paying this kind of money ed. If so deal will only depend on getting past malmo I would imagine
On the subject of a lb I see halstenberg scored again for St pauli. According to the reports he doesn't do much wrong defensive or attacking

By what they are saying in the papers that would seem very much the case. Lad is highly thought of and has already been wathed by quit a few huge clubs

I think we would pay that, Because I think VD has been sold or a price agreed with who ever for after the Malmo games so replacing him for some one less than half the price will make good business sense to Pedro. And if this lad is as good as being reported he will be thinking of his sell on value to

Ed, you mentioned not being willing to pay that much for a striker. Have we missed out on anyone in particular or do you just mean generally?

Hopefully Pedro will loosen the purse strings a tad if we get past Malmo and give us all a nice surprise. A few mil on this defender and another few on a decent striker. LB, I'd be happy with a season long loan if we could get the German guy on a pre contract for next year.

Read that we was offering with add ons totalling to 4m and they said no as his value would grow. Maybe because they had the big teams scouting they're holding out in hope one of them make an offer?
