If Celtic could sign 1 player and money was no object who would you want.

For me it would be Ronaldo

Ian

1.) Most people will probably say Ronaldo or Messi so I'm going to think outside the box a bit Ian and name 3 players who I think would completely transform our team and would certainly make us a lot stronger in the Champions League.

I've taken the values from transfermarkt.

1. Neven Subotic (CB from Borussia Dortmund) £17,500, 00
2. Arturo Vidal (Box to box MF from Juventus) £38,500,000
3. Gonzalo Higuain (ST from Napoli) £33,500,000

Obviously none of them will happen - but we can all dream!

2.) Zlatan Ibrahimovic

3.) Alfred finbogason

4.) Henrik larsson

5.) 18 year old henrik larsson on a 20 year contract

6.) Anton Rogan

Just seen Chuckles statement about winning the 3rd Div. Couple of points I noticed are highlighted. No effort will be spared to improve the team. So no money spent.
Then this is a cracker The fans’ behaviour was a CREDIT to the Club, so to everyone involved I would like to say thank you and well done.

Is that a thank you for the Berwick Sing Song or the boycott of Dundee United.

CHARLES GREEN has issued the following statement:
“Rangers have won many championships and honours but I believe it would be wrong to underestimate the value of what has been achieved this season.
“Ally McCoist’s players have just secured the SFL third-division title and that is the first milestone on the road back to full recovery.
“It is a triumph which, in all honesty, cannot be held up beside the 54 top-flight championships but it is a triumph nonetheless and the manager and players are entitled to feel pride and happiness that they have completed the task.
“Of course we would all have preferred to have witnessed a more exciting brand of football but that will come. Some of the performances have been below what fans expect of a Rangers team and NO EFFORT will be spared to improve on that front.
“However, this Club’s fans have shown tremendous loyalty and as far as I am concerned they are the real stars.
“So, I want to make it clear this latest triumph is for each and every one of them and the other cups and titles I’m sure we’ll collect on our journey back to the pinnacle of Scottish football will also be for the finest support to be found anywhere in the game.
“My abiding memories of this season will be seeing Rangers fans enjoying themselves in bars and restaurants in towns I struggle to find even with the use of my sat nav and I must say we were given a great welcome everywhere.
“The fans’ behaviour was a CREDIT to the Club, so to everyone involved I would like to say thank you and well done.
“We have taken another significant step in the rebuilding process and that will continue.

Now the most pressing issue for us and for other clubs is league reconstruction which, of course, has turned into something of a fiasco.
“Today the SFA released results of a major survey which made it clear fans want to see an expanded top division and no more than three tiers. That is entirely consistent with my earlier proposal for 14-14-14 set up which is no more complicated than what is being currently proposed by the SPL.
“In fact, their notion of two divisions of 12 fragmenting into three of eight is more convoluted and isn’t something which appeals greatly to many of our clubs. Yet, if they vote this in they’ll be doing it out of fear of being left with the status quo because they have been told constantly no other option can work.
“That’s simply not true and it is comforting to know the fans can see that.
“Look, we are all agreed we must have change but it must be the correct change and it must be for the greater good of the game. It must not be for the few.
“That’s why the findings of this first ever Scottish National Football Survey shouldn’t be dismissed with mere platitudes. If the club’s are really listening to their fans they will act accordingly and do what is right.
“No matter what anyone says the current proposals will not give the fans what they are demanding. ”

CG's ahole must be going 5p 10p just now. Did anyone hear what Leishman said. Admin gives us hope liquidation means we are finished no more. Will this mean that the deady bears will start listening. I wonder what the media will have to say about Dunfermline will they get the easy ride that newco got and are still getting.

Why is it that every time CG opens his mouth he mentions Celtic. This guy is an person and a mouth piece that lies through his back teeth.

This is from the Mirror.
Green led a consortium which took over Rangers last May and formed a NEW CLUB.

It is now debt free and valued at around £50million – with Green owning eight per cent.

“Buying the players, the assets, the history for £10m is the best deal that has ever been done in football, ” he said. “Ever.

Was it not £5.5 million and how can it be the best deal ever done when they are losing £1 million per month.

More lies from CG.

Jamie Mac you seem to be an angry man. There is only a handfull of posts on this thread and everyone apart from you have condemed the GB for their political stance and singing of certain songs.

Cant you see that attitudes towards those songs and political points are changing.

We don't need to live in the past like that lot over the road.

The GB need to keep their political views and inappropriate songs out of CP and the sooner they see this the sooner people will stop pointing fingers.

Having said that, I wonder what a sharp lawyer would make of this police tactic? Filming people without there permission, looking over tapes with no representation, then arresting them as they go to a social gathering? Seems a bit Orwellian to me

I am no lawyer but even I know that as long as there are signs up saying that CCTV is taking place then you don't have a leg to stand on as it is a public area.

As for looking over tapes just think back to Manchester and the Rangers sorry chelsea fans and look at the arrests that they made after the event due to video evidence.

Also well said to 3 good post and excellant comments.

What is the point in the goal line officials as I can't think of one ever making a call. As for the 3 today all within 15 feet of the hand ball only says to me it was 11 against 16.

120 days for that report. I could have done it in 120 seconds. We have blown £70 mill. We are paying over the going rate in wages. We need more money and just to keep the not so loyal happy we are going to win the SPFL in our second year of being their.

How are The Rangers going to bring more compitition to the SPFL when they are promoted as early as next season.
They are not the same team as the original rangers. Players are not SPFL level bar a few. They have no money to buy anything that is SPFL level and still have a tough league to try and gain promotion from next season.
