re youth team /upcoming players as opposed to buying in names i dont think nl would think twice about given acadamy bhoys moreof a chance, the problem is the paitence pf the fans look at the the reaction nl got /gets when we drop a few points i dread to imagine the reaction if he never bought names and played more youth and started to lose,,,,,deep river bhoy

We have some good young guys at the club and maybe we need to introduce them to the squad now to help with the financial mess created by Rangers

How's it going Ed 007 good to see you back!
Quick question if we were to sign the lad Henrikson will he be able to play in the champions leauge if we qualify? As he as played a qualifier already this season?

Cheers
Gazcfc21 {Ed007's Note - I'm good thanks Gaz. A player who has played in European qualifiers can play for another team in the competition as long as his original team have been eliminated in the preliminary rounds of the competition.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Ed hows things hope yer well, quick question since the other ed didn't post it, the lad Henrikson has anyone actually seen him play apart from a few you tube clips? You could make me look like pele on there. Also he's only 19 so I can't see him coming right into the team and that's wot we need.

Alan {Ed007's Note - Look at Wanyama Alan, or Matthews, who had seen much if any of them? That is what scouts are for. If you watch a lot of CL, EL and international football you should be able to spot good players in those matches and then can keep an eye on them.... There are loads of matches available online to watch at any time if you want to form your own opinion on players without just watching YouTube highlight reels. Are you asking how scouting works?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha I know how scouting works but to many people on here are shouting as if the boys maradonna lol. Did we scout lustig? Wot about Murphy? Juarez tae my point is I'm asking your opinion if you have seen him live and think he's any good? Just think we need a bit of experience for the champions league qualifiers cause surely the league's in the bag already. {Ed007's Note - I've seen enough of him to know that he would be a great player who would add another dimension to the team.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Brilliant. That's all I was asking. Cheers

Agree0 Disagree0

I have also watched him live a few times. good player from what i saw in the games anyway and stood out even though it was a nil nil. remember it cause let my bet down lol

would be a great player and one celtic wil make a profit on if they wished to sell in 3 years time
Good to see you back ed

Kieran1967

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed does this young lad have any pace,he looks a bit slow in the clips going about a bit like ki in fact good player just a bit slow for our game. {Ed007's Note - He's not lightening quick no.}

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't have to have pace to be a good player look at pirlo and Scholes the boy looks like he's got a good range of passing and has a decent shot on him.
I for one think he would be another great young talent in our team and at 19 or 20 his best years are still to come. Like it or not Celtic are a selling team that will sell to the big leagues for the right money! It's not a bad thing Look at Porto they bring in young lads and sell them at a big profit

One thing all Bear or 'tic fans , all fans for that matter must agree with is the the whole governance of Scottish football is a national disgrace. 3 bodies and not one fair decision maker amongst then! How much do the three of them milk out of the game , cushy jobs, cars, travel perks! For what. I say as a tic man , enough with skelping the bears , let's all turn our guns on the incompetents that run our game. If they had proper oversight Rangers would not have got into this mess. Hail hail. Joe

Afternoon ED007, not been about since Friday, glad to see you are back and well. Now you all know me I am not one to tell tales, cough cough, but I heard that Taco was getting a petition up to get ED038 as the permanent ED on here! lol ED007 any word on any move yet for Henricksen or anybody else? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Thank you Tim, I am fine mate. I don't think Ed038 was happy wading through the abuse that gets posted in lol, we got a note from his mammy asking if he could be excused from doing the CFC site in future (I think bed wetting was involved but shhhh). There were talks with Henriksen's agent in Belfast but I have don't know how far down the line they are to a deal being completed. I think there could be an announcement this week of a signing, maybe not Henriksen but murmurs are something is close to being finalised. NL is looking to get his business done early this summer to prepare for the CL qualifiers.}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Cheers ED007 we will look out for this signing then, good to have Champions League to look forward to. I see all the doom and gloom from Doncaster re Motherwell was also a load of baloney, McCall saying today decent euro run can set them up for 3 years.
I actually think SPL will be good this year and I think fans will get behind all teams. hail hail Timalloy
PS as for ED038 I think he had difficulty with some of the regulars posts as he did not know them and erred on cautious side, wait until wee Pat posts when he is on..... {Ed007's Note - It was all just scaremongering Tim, rightly so none has worked so far.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed038 is the best editor by a mile ;-)

Naw hes no a asked um tae gie me the 50 thit 007 owed me n take it oot iz wajis ,he blanked me the totie

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, cheers Tim....that was supposed to be a hostile takeover!

sorry 007, you know how things change around here...the first sign of a cold and your reserved parking spot is auctioned off to the first bidder>.

taco {Ed007's Note - Et tu Taco?}

Agree0 Disagree0

ED007, Taco just had Sally on the phone, all this talk of eating two of everything has got him salivating (slabbering for wee Pat lol)
as long as it is not Caesars salads... Timalloy

Hi Ed no rumours Im afraid just looking for help mate, any chance you can repost instructions for watching football on google chrome, problems with laptop and im rubbish at computing stuff, good to see you back how are you feeling {Ed007's Note - Thanks a lot, I am feeling fine thanks. Here are the instructions for watching football on Google Chrome:

1. Install the browser Google Chrome.

2. Look in the top right (your right) corner and you will see a spanner.

3. Click on the spanner and select 'tools'.

4. Click on extensions

5. At the bottom right (as you look at it) you will see 'Get More Extensions >>'. Select this.

6. In the search box type 'Chrome Live Football' and search.

7. Click on Chrome Live Football and then click on install. (it may download to a holding file in the bottom left as you look at it, in which case as soon as it's finished click there, but mostly it will install itself)

8. A small football will then appear in the top right (as you look at it). Click on that, select 'live stream' and reset the clock to GMT and it will list all the live games available all over europe and other places.

You may occasionally need to install other programmes or the link you pick will only work on Explorer (in which case cut and paste the URL into Explorer), but you will always get every EPL match (or any other). Sometimes you will only be able to find it with foreign commentary and sometimes you will get it in English. You'll get about thirty links and you may have to look through a lot of them to get what you want. You will also get most La Liga matches, Greek matches, Italian matches and French matches as well as top matches from South America.

Someone also asked about viruses etc. Google Chrome is actually far more secure than Internet Explorer so the risks are considerably less, but you should have decent virus/spyware programmes and run sweeps regularly as a matter of course.

The quality will also depend on the speed of your internet connection. If you have super-speed and have a modern HD TV, consider connecting your PC to the TV via the PC socket on the side/ back.

Cut and paste the above into a document and save it for future reference.

You sound like a salesman for Google. Most football fans have been using sites like Firstrowsports for ages. Google it ( you seem to work for them after all ). You get more than just football there. {Ed007's Note - For legal reasons that is the only method I can recommend, if you bothered reading through the site you would see that. If others send in streams I am happy to post them. How the hell did you come to the conclusion that I work for Google? Obviously you don't work in IT or you would know the basics of website administration and accreditation certification.}

Celtic keen to tie hooper down after growing interest.

he is always gonna attract attention as he is real quality. i always like how "them down there" always slate our league and players then their clubs try and sign all our players. makes no sense.

Wanyama in hot water after discussing his future.

i think players should be cut a little slack when commenting on the spot in public especially ones so young like wanyama who still have to learn how to handle press and probing questions.

"What's happening with my fave English team ? Mrs E"
Not much to be honest Mrs E, but we've been heavily linked with Gaston Ramirez, looks like we might keep Suarez now Juve could get RVP, Joe Cole's getting another chance and the lads are back for training and I'm sure you will all be happy to hear that Charlie Adam is back in training but we seem to be as quiet as you to be honest.
Thanks Chris Bhoy mate.
On Henriksen Ed, is there not interest from the EPL? I'd be shocked if there wasn't. Would be great for Celtic as he is already better than Ki, and this 'Ki sells shirts in Korea', doesn't help Celtic one bit, Nike will be the ones getting all that money. At 3 million Euro's I can't believe more aren't taking a look, from what I've seen and heard of him he is expected to be a top player.
JFT96
Smithy {Ed007's Note - The only EPL team that I knew had shown interest was Villa but that was while McLeish was in charge Smithy. Schalke and Bayern Munich have also ended their interest and the only teams I know that are still strongly interested is CFC, PSV, Brugge and Hamburg have been in touch but could have left it too late.}

Believable2 Unbelievable2

I'll be happy to see Liverpool hang onto Suarez, maybe he'll 'help' lure Ramirez. Happy to hear the wonder that is C*****e A**m is back lol. Mrs E
