gav the bear {Ed007's Note - Brilliant that so many Rangers fans are saying this. The rest of the posts are well out of order and if they persist they will be banned.}

We aren't all complete idiots just some of us lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Mulgrew is the obvious choice although I think we lack threat down the left when he plays as he's not quick enough to play box to box like Izaguirre does. If we do go with Mulgrew I'd like to see us keep him deeper and give the two centre mids more freedom to get forward to link with Commons or Ledley. Mulgrew is also a decent set-piece taker which we're lacking so we have that when he's in the team. I also think he crosses better with time on the ball which he'd get playing deeper.

Matthews and Mark Wilson can also play LB. Mark Wilson either way will likely play if available, and Matthews is useful at taking long throw ins and like Izzy likes to get forward but haven't paid much attention to what he's likely defensively.

We also have Cha but I've never seen him on the left, and Twardzik who IMO isn't ready to play every week.

Lennon also mentioned looking at the transfer market but I reckon a loanee would be more realistic than a permanent signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

It would have to be Mulgrew coming from a defensive point of view, cha is better going forwards as he started out as a striker then to winger then to right wing back and i thought he looked good on the ball but as the previous postsays ive never seen him on the left or how good his left foot is.

Agree0 Disagree0

The good thing about his injury is that it might put other clubs off from signing him

Agree0 Disagree0

Mulgrew might be the man to do it and as someone said, it'll completely end any interest in Emilio til next summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he makes a full recovery, great player and sorry to see him getting such a bad injury. Aberdeen fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Best wishes izzy wont be long your better than that

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish Izaguirre a speedy recovery great player, our league neds guys like that.

just got a text saying wayne bridge is without a club is coming up to play in the spl on loan. cant see him taking a massive dropping in wages {Ed007's Note - Text the guy back and tell him to go to bed and sleep it off. Clarity will come with sobriety.}

Believable4 Unbelievable15

How can you go on loan if you haven't got a club?? Ya fud

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed where do these guys get these crazy ideas from, useless , afternoon/early evening? have you read the gregg wylde rumour? any distance in that one? shame for emilio today big loss to team but have some cover? wilson /mathews could swap over. still await our keeper, gordon the shout in january maybe, need someone now but. HH

ktf davybhoy {Ed007's Note - Too much FM/FIFA/PES Davy.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why? only asked if you had read rumour on wylde? mathews played on left pre season and wilson has b4? or craig gordon in january? none realistic? wylde x celtic youth player rumoured to be on way out similar to young dylan re-signing for hoops that was all, yeah probs no distance in them then, i will watch on till window shuts and see who we really get

davybhoy ktf {Ed007's Note - I meant the OP Davy, not you. You asked where people get ideas from. Sorry if that was out of order, I didn't mean it that way.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its your reply i was a bit lost on it - got you now, no worries not out of order in anyway keep up great work, enjoy your reposts/replys . still waiting on a keeper tho,

Celtic have made a bid for Sandomierski but face competition from Belgian champions Genk although they have not made a bid as of yet.

Came on to say that I genuinly wish Emilio Izaguirre a speedy recovery looks like some of my fellow Rangers fans have beat me to it but i'm glad of that. Football rivalry aside no player deserves that and Izaguirre is a great player, can only congratulate on Celtic for buying him cheap.

really hope izzy recovers well from his ankle break . not nice to see player seriously injured . we have a football rivalry but thats as far as it should go . bigt rangers fan {Ed007's Note - Thanks BigT, another decent sensible Rangers fan.}

Believable23 Unbelievable5

Well said Big T. Lets hope he makes a swift return and graces the SPL with his magic soon

Agree0 Disagree0

I fractured my ankle playing football many years ago i was of work 10 weeks , but when i started kicking a ball again i found my left foot had a more powerful shot than my right oh to be young again out there kicking a football with your pals round the bully in brigton, one of my pals then was sonny rae father of ex captain of rangers alex.

Sorry to here about izzy Ed. Hope he's not out for to long
Followfollow81 {Ed007's Note - Thanks buddy. It is pathetic that some people gloat on an injured player. I wouldn't wish an injury on any player no matter how much I dislike them. Good to see some adults can see beyond the colours and treat others as a human being rather than "one of them". I am sure all decent Rangers fans wish him well.}

IZZY has broken ankle in todays game with aberdeen

Skinnybhoy

Believable12 Unbelievable5

FFS....We will need to buy cover for left back now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Balance to team is all wrong today. Commons cant play on right wing. Move him to left bring on forrest on right and we will score

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers fan in peace

just wanted to say hope izzaguire(sorry about spelling if wrong)makes a full recovery, don't like to see any injury to any player, looked like a sore one

Andy {Ed007's Note - Cheers Andy, better than some of the stuff people are trying to post.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Just watched celtic game not too much to worry about shame about izzaguirre as he is a decent player hope he is back for rangers game as we dont want any excuses

Agree0 Disagree0

Same with me Ed hope he makes a full recovery. As for the Celtic fan posting yous will need to buy another left back catch a grip izzy has just broke his leg. Is mulgrew not a left back? There's you answer.

everton watching kayal and hooper at todays match good source {Ed007's Note - Why? Just watch Sky and save on the hotel bill. It would cost a lot to bring an entire EPL club to watch a game and Everton have no money to spend so I doubt BK and DM would sanction a trip to Aberdeen for the entire staff to watch 2 players.}

Believable2 Unbelievable18

Ed your just a t**t you know what the guy meant no need for sarcasm {Ed007's Note - No need to post BS rumours though, is there.? Especially when I know they are complete garbage}

Agree0 Disagree0

Good on you ed. it's when people type "good source" etc, then 99 times out of 100 it is nonsense

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said ed keep up the good work and ban the other tosser that gave you the abuse {Ed007's Note - Thanks.}

According to today's 'The People' newspaper - I don't know what it is either, it just got plonked downinfront of me - Celtic may bid £650, 000 for Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre with wages of £6, 500 a week. Also, with Tim Krul being given Newcastle's number one jersey, the same newspaper claims we could be taking Harper off Newcastle's books? Personally, I don't want him. Le Fondre I would take.

Evening bhoys, just seen an article there saying Celtic have agreed 1.75 million for the pol Sandomierski don't know how solid it is due to the fact that Jagiellonia Białystok had put a 2 million pound price tag on him, you heard anything Ed ?

celtictalk.org/celtic-agree-2-1m-fee-for-grezgorz-sandomierski/

Stephen 88 {Ed007's Note - I had some personal business to do this morning so I don't actually know. His club wanted a fee agreed before allowing him to fly over though, so it could be true.}

According to weszlo.com Celtic have agreed a £1.75 million deal for 22 year old Grzegorz Sandomierski.

Grzegorz Sandomierski was suppose to come to Celtic on a trial but his club Jagiellonia Białystok said Celtic must agree a fee first. Celtic put in a bid of £500, 000 but it was quickly turned down as the club value him much higher.

According to the article in polish he will fly over in the next few days to talk about personal terms and have a medical. The main thing holding Celtic back is that he cannot play in Celtics game vs Sion because he is cup tied. Sandomierski can play in the group stages.

Due to his form in the Polish league he has broke through into the Polish national team and has made 3 caps so far. This is a great feat considering he is up against Szczęsny and Fabiański who both play at Arsenal.

Believable11 Unbelievable2

Aye. He's stated he's prepared for a move as well (probably celtic then). Only Genk standing in our way at the minute. Surely we're still a more attractive propostion than Genk?

Expect Celtic to sign Joe Cole on loan on deadline day if he hasn't already signed for PSG. He won't be in liverpool's 25-man squad and Dalglish is willing to help Celtic out with the wages situation. This news will start to surface within the next week.
