Supposedly forster will be going to southampton for 8.5m if we are knocked out tomorrow night. Seen it on a celtic fb page
He'll even leave if they stayed in the champions league

James Forrest in the squad for tomorrow's game against Legia Warsaw
I think we could have really needed samaras tomorrow. I miss him in the champions league matches.

Just heard from Sly Sports that a newspaper is running with a story that Kris Commons is off to West Brom for 7.5 million
Seamus?
Top player for us in the SPFL. Has done hee haw in Europe though. I'd bite their hands off but sounds too much given his contract/age.

Jim,
Looks like you missed the Spartak game here last season. Can't see anyone offering that much given his contract.
{Ed007's Note - Are they buying him by the kilo?}
Cujimmy,
Scoring a penalty in a qualifier is important. But if we're being critically honest, which any coach should do, he hasn't done much else in the CL.
It was the Mirror that ran that story.The deal is supposed to be worth £7.5m so I take it that would include wages, signing on fee, etc.Personally I don't believe the story as the DR is supposed to be it's sister paper & they don't mention it.If we fail tomorrow then I think he would probably go but to who?
Leicester perhaps or a lower Premier league team? Forest or Derby? Perhaps he'll find his level in the Europa with us?
Simply another example of the MSSM giving grief to Celtic fans before a major game .
Might just be my sevco mate's ramblings but he had an inflated transfer figure theory that he had heard that some of our transfer figures had added saved wages worked into the final deals "worth" total. His zombie drip included the ki deal only being 4m cash and the reported sale figure being inflated to include saved wages. The 7.5m is way off the mark but if aligned with transfer cost and wages for a comparable offered contract then it might fit to some degree?
Massive pinch of the old salt granted and I fully admit I'm not clued up on such dealings or rag figure manipulation. Most likely lodge patter but the money in and out still doesn't overshadow the current investment deficit
Read this yesterday and only stopped laughing to type this message today. best joke i've heard in a while. aaah
