Would like to see some changes against hibs on saturday, would play zaluska, chalmers, gershon, and mc geouch, in stead of forster, izzagurie, ambrose, and kayal, some of these players have not been playing as well as they should, what do others think. glen 1967.

Izzy has been a nightmare all season, he needs dropped and if any offers come in for him in the summer (which I doubt) get rid. Stevie

I'd like to see gershon and mcgeough given a chance, was impressed with gershon in his last international game, made a few rusty mistakes but in all looked decent. Not seen much of the young guy chalmers but I'm sure if lenny thinks he's ready he will get his chance, get the title wrapped up then let's see who can step upto the plate in the rest of the games, would like to see more game time given to rogic and watt.

Zaluska? are you mental?

Agree0 Disagree0

Placing my bets on the same team as last week, with Stokes in for Commons, hopefully the young/fringe players get a chance once the title is officially wrapped up. dopeydavey

Stevie I think it's about time you stayed in with the wife on match day, your obviously not enjoying the journey, I have never seen a post from you, that say's anything positive about Celtic, it's alway's doom and gloom, or get rid of this player or that player, obviously, a half empty glass type of guy, do yourself a favour mate and stay in the house.

Emilio - as he wishes to be known, seemingly - is fantastic for me. He loves celtic in a genuine way (for a honduran) and he's often our main attacking threat (damnable in itself but true). Sure, he's been exposed at the back at times - more often he's been getting it done. One of the few genuinely exciting players in the team. When he's got the ball on the left wing you just know there's an immanent chance!

2 glaring misses on who should be dropped Glen. Hooper and Wanyama. not doubting their abilities just their recent dip in form. TTTS

Time for us to be a bit more positive on here I reckon. Looking back it has been an incredible season, the players are young and they're going to get tired after all these massive games. Some folk are to quick to stick the knife in and call for players to move on and sack the gaffer. Tomorrow we could wrap up the title and in a few weeks win the cup. let's get right behind the lads and show the orks just how far ahead of them we are. Mon the Celtic.

P. S let's definitely sign Johnny Russell. Guy is brilliant the now and he's going to get better.

Aye, we should be more positive. It's not been a rubbish season. I've seen plenty of them, believe me. We'll look back on this season with joy.

One incredible result and that's about it for me Daviebhoy, the league form has been abysmal and only a Scottish cup win will make it a good season, not an incredible one. Stevie

He's out for the rest of the season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Cup is definitely a big one. We need a party in the sun!

Agree0 Disagree0

Mcgeouch gershon watt and rogic should play more often

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, he is out for the rest of the season, but we can't sign people for the rest of the season. I'm talking next year, pal. Been a long time since we've had such highs, let's enjoy the rest of this one. 4-0 today.

On matters Celtic, I notice the Owen Coyle to Celtic rumour is around cyberspace. Rumour is Moyes has told Everton he won't sign his new contract, this has put Lenny in the frame for the job. Two things, I doubt very much if Everton would take a chance on an untried, at premiership level, manager. Although working to a small budget might help his case. Secondly, Coyle knocked us back before. A self confessed Celtic fan refused the job to stay with a lower league side in England. Has he done enough since to merit another chance? Not for me. It also seems more likely that Coyle to Everton might make more sense. Sounds like a page filler in a down market tabloid to me. green jhedi

GJ it wouldn't surprise me if the board looked to coyle again if Lennon decides to head off?! If coyles not working at the time he's the easy option, a really decent guy, half decent coach but like u say he knocked us back before, IMO I would never knock back the club you love but I'm never going to be in that position! So who knows.
Re: Everton, your also right about Lennons lack of EPL, and whoever takes over from Moyes has a tough job to keep up the good work he and his staff have done BUT. I was at an SFA coaching course, Donald Park, Steve Agnew (Middlesbrough) and Alan Irvine (Everton head of development) the 6hrs that I've spent with Irvine was top class and he was very open, a selling club happy to finish between 5th and 10th! What he's employed to do is follow the boys from 8-16 and by 17/18 have a young talent to sell on for millions, 5th to 10th they only need to sell one (if the money's right) outside the top 10 it could be a first team player or 2 and a young star in the making.
A lot of us up a coming coaches disagreed with the approach of taking on boys so young (8) as everything is monitored, time on the pitch, distance covered and everything is recorded, video and info at 8 and upwards! Again he was open, "that's my job, that's what we do, that's what happens and that's what I get paid for"
Now this probably happens at lot of pro clubs weather I agree or not, so looking at that I think Lennon or coyle could be in the running for that type of job if need be as neither has had money to spend and Everton aren't going to change the way they do things.
Sorry for the story but u get the jist

GJ sayin about everton not takin the risk on a lenny with not bein tried at premiership level a would have 2 disagree mate moyes has been ther 10 year he was untried at premiership level when he joined them from preston so a actually think the would take the risk with lennon just my oppinion though

GunnieBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

@Gunniebhoy; Difference is Moyes had done a few clubs before prominence with preston I think. You know how insular these English are! I also don't think the Everton fans would be to impressed. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes had only managed preston before Everton in the days the Championship wasn't even that good. Lennon would be more than experinenced for a job like that. He's coped with more than most managers have to in his short managerial spell.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would not blame NL one bit if he did decide to move on. He has had to put up with an obscene amount of assaults, threats and attempts on his (and his family's) life. A witch-hunt by bigots
and the constant anti-Lennon press/media nonsense and the SFA harassment and he has endured more than any other Celtic boss in my lifetime.
This season he has made history with 10pts in a very tough CL group and has guided us to a unique SPL campaign.
I would also say that some of the players he has shown 100% faith in, have let him down and are well below the levels expected and maintained in our previous Championship run.
So as I say if he is a tad 'scunnered'? I for one would have no complaints.
No one in mind obviously, but I would imagine there would be a queue a mile long if the job came up in the Summer.
