Defo think we should sign zigic from birmingham in the summer I know he's 32 this years but I think this guy is built for the spl and still got a point to prove in europe.this guy is the sort of signing mon would have made great player but not playing to full potental remember sutton thompson hartson etal

now you probably wont be able to post this on forum but expect to see Lawwel and Riley gain promotion and hefty pay rises within the SPL/SFA. {Ed007's Note - This should be good....why?}

Believable1 Unbelievable10

Heard we ar going for kenwyne jones in the summer for partnership for Gary hooper. I think it would be a great signing. What do you think ed? {Ed007's Note - Not on £45k-50k a week we won't be. That is his current deal, when players move they want more money.}

Believable2 Unbelievable14

LMFAO, stop it my sides hurt.

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been taken to hospital after splitting my sides.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ffs sick,sick,sick,of the crap, WE CANT BUY PREM PLAYERS TO MUCH DOSH.Lets look at croatia, serbia,etc get a grip with the bull.

Agree0 Disagree0

In any case many of the EPL players are way overrated and outragously over paid when compared with most european leagues. Funny how they can perform in Engerland but when it comes to Europe they are poor not tactically but individually. Are they spoiled or is it something more sinister? Chelsea played anti football so that does not count. Sopot Celt

Agree0 Disagree0

Re KJ, Being an avid Sunderland and Celtic fan born in Glasgow but now living in the North east I have watched Kenwyne Jones on many occasions when playing for Sunderland. Whilst he certainly has a presence on the field his goals to games ratio is not great and I don't think he performed that well as team player. He has a laid back approach which may not suit the SPL. something

What do u think of bangura ed? A no he has not had a lot of games but already looks like a waste of money to me {Ed007's Note - I am far from impressed with what I have seen and what I have heard. Could be a mistake but every manager makes them, move him on and get someone better in, it's not as if it's a complete disaster with the volume of players we have. Every transfer is a gamble in that way.}

Believable5 Unbelievable9

No point selling, no chance o recouping what we spent.. We got more from mo last night than Stokes, while I'm not saying sell Stokes or that mo is better, its just that I see something. He was trying stepovers etc. last night and you don't try that if ye don't have the ability. Add into this that he has had a bad injury with only closed door leisurely paced games to break him back in, think what Izzy played like first game back against Falkirk ed. You can add to mo's struggles the fact he is from Sierra Leone via Sweden and when I nmet him at the huddle club party a couple o months back he couldn't really communicate very well. For these reasons I'm willing to give him the benefit of the large doubt. Remember that Sammy usually plays left mid leaving Hooper, Stokes n mo as our strikers for the most part

Jamie Mac(confident mo will come good)

Agree0 Disagree0

My Nephew plays with the u19s
and has told me that mo had a bit of depression over the season after the loss of his baby and this was put down as an injury. I am a rangers fan and as you know i have been honest in my posts before.

As a sufferer of this illness in the past, if this is true, i hope your club give him every chance to improve/impress as the guy deserves it!

And my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family!

BluePeter

Agree0 Disagree0

Bangura is rotten, get rid of him and move on

Agree0 Disagree0

I looked at him last night and thought he showed promise, honestly I think give the bhoy some time and let him get a full pre season under his belt and he could be a player

Junglebhoy33

Agree0 Disagree0

He started one match against hearts, one big match I'm meaning, missed a chance and the WHOLE team were poor. I would wonder how many minutes he has actually played for us over this season?
Lennon sticks by those he wants obviously, bangura falls into that it seems in comparison to treatment of Rasmussen,Juarez, O'Dea etc.
Kris Commons was rotten for most o the season, getting more minutes, looking good Why can't this be Bangura? ¡Another few months in Scotland and another few starts could be what he needs, he is fast,showed some strength and tried some twists n turns,unlucky not to score, granted he fluffed plenty but I think this was anxiety with him being desperate to score.
Season starts early again so plenty window time left to get shot of him after he gets a chance and before the board have to spend, why buy new when old hasn't been used? That's exactly how they think in the boardroom as we know.
So give the guy a break, ye never know we may need him if hoops head gets turned. Realistically, Lennon said three in six out, meaning gk, ch, st- same we have heard before. If he can't get the six out, what happens? Either someone not in the plan gets sold or no one comes in, we have seen this before too. Nothing gung ho will be happening as they will wonder if see

Agree0 Disagree0

I think they should give the lad starts in our last 2 games before making any decisions. He works hard and runs the channels well, a good out ball but like any striker low on confidence he looks like he couldn't hit a cow in the arse with a banjo. Given his injuries and if its true his problems with depression. He might just need a wee arm round the shoulder and a bit of patience. Remember, the King Of Kings recommended him so thats good enough for me. I think getting his first goal would do him the world of good. If I'm honest though when we were linked with Bangura and BABA diawara of maritimo at the same time i was hoping we would sign BABA, he looked the part and definitely seemed to have more of a physical presence, very good in the air. ANYWAYS I'm more concerned with that barnet he was sporting last night lol. I though we'd signed Rick James when i seen him.

Shuggybhoy67

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe some of yous are actually Celtic fans, I had an idiot behind me last night criticising the poor guy all game even tho he was 1 of our better players on the night. Give him a chance something he's not had at all since arriving with his injuries and all that

P.s Well said Blue Peter

Raff

Agree0 Disagree0

I was looking to bad mouth the fella, I'll admit it, but i didnt realise the hardships of the man, We gotta stick with him and see what he can do - Quacksandpiper

Agree0 Disagree0

Give the guy a chance he been out for a while injured. remember everyone say larsson was crap when he joined. 1st game scored a ogre. then 2nd game caused a goal. he didn't have the best of starts

Good afternoon ED007, I just wanted to say how uplifting it was to see the wonderful Thai Tims last night. All the fans around me some were in tears me too, but it was tears of joy...
We often talk glibly of the "Celtic Family" well last night, our "family" got together and gave us all a great big cuddle.
It began with a young man Reamon Gormley going to Thailand to "make a difference" well Reamon your legacy is there for everyone to see in these smiling happy children. Because of good people like Reamon and our generous, Celtic fans these children will have a good education and a better start in life..
When you see all the poison that is happening across the city with that
crooked club, then look at how football and decent fans behave, it is two
different worlds.
These happy, smiling kids have touched so may of our hearts, so I say well done Reamon, Celtic FC and all the
worlwide Celtic Family. JCGE Timalloy

Believable13 Unbelievable4

Well said Timalloy, but you didnt have to bring Rangers into it to point score.

The most touching thing i have seen re;The Thai Tims, was a wonderful pic of Reamon's parents with the kids.Their faces were such a picture of joy at seeing these amazing kids who were so close to their son.What a legacy to have, they should be so proud of a young man who in his short time with us made such a difference.A real inspiration..........green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's shocking how their appearance last night only merits a small picture in the DR today.I enjoyed seeing them last night,they even tried to start up the Huddle.Fantastic,can't wait to see them again at Hearts game.

We are so proud, thanks guys

Agree0 Disagree0

It was my daughter who introduced me to the thai tims and told me the story of the young MAN reamon gormley and would just like to say that he is an absolute inspiration to young and old and that his family and him will be held in the highest regard by the celtic family. R.I.P. REAMON . gone but not forgotten,kb-bhoy.ps how cool are those thai tims god bless them all.

Hi Ed

can you settle an argument between myself and my nice but dhim best mate. he recons that all us Rangers fans should dig into our pockets and save our club just like the Celtic Fans did. i maintain that the bonnet came in and saved Celtic then a little down the line he instigated a share option which the Celtic fans took up but he is adamant that it was the fans and fergus together that initial saved the club. trying to get through to this muppet is causing me stress maybe if he hears it from one of his own he will listen. he really is a Dim nice but dhim.

Lochaber Bear {Ed007's Note - It was actually Brian Dempsey that put the initial money up to stave off the bank while Fergus McCann flew into the country. McCann Sorted the mess out and then had a share issue. You are right mate.}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Dont forget the Keane family ED. 1m into the bank with no guarantee of even getting it back.he was the first to see the seriousness of it.........green jhedi {Ed007's Note - True GJ, I was only telling LB that the fans weren't involved in any partnership as such with MCann at the takeover point. Gerald and Vera Weisfeld done their part as well.}

Agree0 Disagree0

There's a fantastic book on sale in our shops just now,The McCann Years,it's all about the takeover and following years.Tell your mate to read it LB.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think you can under estimate the fan power that forced through the change and raised the profile of the situation, but yes, it was mccann and others who payed the debts and mccann who managed the club into a properly financial run company.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dempsey the keane Gerald and Vera, are they not fans. So you could argue the fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can recommend reading the book "The McCann Takeover" bu David Low. Low was, you'll recall, part of the Mccann team and involved in all the negotiations. It's an excellent read (like a thriller!) andgives you all yuo ned toknow about how it came to pass and the contribution of the key players. The financial support of McCann saved Celtic whilst the input of supporters ensured it went through an in financial terms allowed the current stadium to be built. It strikes me Rangers need a similar partnership

Ed what ar the chances of us getting.. Gareth mccleary and jay rodriguez?. {Ed001's Note - isn't McCleary in talks with Reading now? And Rodriguez is likely to go to the English Prem too, there is a lot of interest in him from the likes of Villa, Wigan and Sunderland.}

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Yeah heard Norwich ar in for mccleary, but Celtic would be better on there cv's and champions league football, but they can improve more as a player in the epl.
