Paltry fee Paltry wage, I think we should sign leigh griffiths as he tears the spl up and would get even better playing with the tic,. ,. kbarry

Believable21 Unbelievable17

This talented boy is bogged down with personal baggage. Otherwise he would not be at Easter Road. If you thought Riordan was a liability he is 10 times worse. Bad apple in barrel comes to mind. Could we tame him? Doubt it.

Agree1 Disagree0

Unamed replier booooooom that didn't take long at all, I had the name of riordan in my head and was waiting on a reply with the name riordan, anyhow I believe that lennon could get the best outta him. Nameless replier you are aloud your opinion, but could you name a better dealing?,. ,. kbarry

Agree0 Disagree2

Couldn, t agree more kbarry, and as for too much baggage our manager hardly covers himself in glory at times with his touchline behaviour, and you need to look no further than the weekend for proof with his pathetic reaction after we scored, all it does is give the press
ammunition to highlight his behaviour.
Yes I would sign griffiths. jimbhoy

Agree0 Disagree1

Jimbhoy iam flattered you agree with me but don't ever ever diss lennon there is nothing pathetic whatsover about lennon what youve got to remember is lennon is a very young manager who wears his heart on his sleeve, he backs his beloved club to the hilt not like people like you, this post was not about lennon it was about griffiths. We are all/Iam defo Neil Lennon,. ,. kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Too late bhoys. The Griffiths ship has sailed already. I seen on The Rangers/Rangers site that he'll be signing for them. Good move by Zombie FC. I think he might just be the man to help them finally get the better of the mighty Stirling! Gawn yersel ya deluded eejits! Cheered me right up today that one did. Weetam1888

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd much rather put our money into the players we've got coming through, they deserve a chance, griffiths has had his. Hingmy

Agree0 Disagree0

To kbarry I have been a celtic fan for just shy of 60 years and will never let anyone say anything untoward about my team. I have had countless arguements defending celtic even with family members. With all that neil lennon has had to endure since he came to celtic, both as player and manager its a credit to him that he is still in this cesspit of a country.
All I would like for neil to do is don't give the press and media outlets the ammunition to pillory him for the slightest misdemeanour. There is nothing more annoying for me to pick up a newspaper and see neil headlined for a nonsense offence. Can you imagine if neil had behaved the way sheils did in his first game back after an 8 game ban, sent to the stand kicked a water bottle and sat on top of the dugout, or adams and butcher at the weekend fighting with each other practically no mention of either incident. Kbarry you don't me personally so you can't say I don't back my team to the hilt, where I live i'm known
as mr celtic all I want is for neil to not give the press a reason to to bad mouth my beloved celtic, a team who I hope is griffiths next employer. jimbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry jimbhoy (mr celtic) I understand mate,
But what I don't understand is your media/press thing. You should know being in your 50s that the press/media have never had anything good to say about us, I have given up listning/watching what the media/press have to say moons ago, but I do respect you as youve got nearly double my celtic intake,. ,. kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

To Kbarry thank you for your reply. when I mentioned the baggage thing it was in reply to the reply to your original post by the poster. With regards to the press/media its difficult not to notice the anti celtic agenda when my children bring them into the family home. yours in celtic
jimbhoy.

Ah well. Dundee Utd in the cup.

Samson {Ed007's Note - I was hoping to avoid Dundee Utd until the final. The club and the fans deserve a nice day out after all their good work over the last year or so. If anyone deserves it, Dundee Utd, their fans and their fine upstanding chairman Stephen Thompson does.}

Believable19 Unbelievable4

Happy to get utd in the semi should be a great tie let's hope the bhoys have learned from past hampden mistakes and make a big push to get us to the final where hopefully we can celebrate a suberb double. i'm never going to be a fan of hampden but I hope we can fill the place with the utd lads and make it a great spectical and advert for our game

ED007 do you mean Celtic are NOT boycotting Dundee United? lol Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Oh no Tim, why should they? If anything the CFC support should applaud Dundee Utd's fans on 54 mins for the part their club played in putting a halt to Rangers league title haul and for putting sporting integrity before financial gain. Thompson and the Utd fans are a credit to their club and deserve all the praise they get. Without Thompson's help Rangers might have got away with their years of cheating.}

I love ed007

samson {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much. There has been murmurings of a fan club but I think it is just my mammy getting carried away.}

Rangers have posted a loss of £7million for the last seven months of 2012. Interim results to December 31 show revenue of £9.5million, with operating expenses of £16.6million.

The Sno Man

Believable18 Unbelievable1

04 Mar 2013 09:30:00
@Snoman yes interim UNAUDITED accounts.
interesting part is £16m operating costs. This will not change in next 3 years in the lower leagues. They will have to come up with other income streams. Looks like a share issue EVERY year. Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree0

Reporting up to end 2012 is clever as it doesn't cover operating costs of £2.4m a month (on average of the last seven months £16.6m) which is additional £4.8m for January and February.
The share issue had to go through in December or they were sunk. Share money is paying monthly bills and it runs out in five months.
Directors salaries, junkets and international players for SFL3 will sink this zombie.

Agree1 Disagree0

Operating expenses of £16.6m for 7 months is £2. 37m a month. That's £28.5m a year for SFL3. Imran Ahmed, Green, Stockbridge, Jabba, Ally,.
They will just squeeze through to summer season tickets bringing in £10m but need £30m to get through next year.

Agree2 Disagree0

Operating at £1m a month loss or £12m a year. So far covered by share issue but that one off cash cow will run out and £4.8m cost for jan/feb not in there.
What fund managers in London were reckless enough to put their clients money in to this.
Looks like another boiler room job, 24 months and folded. Declaring multi million pound losses two months after floating with no plan obvious to correct it.
Where's Ally's £10m plus budget? Where's the £9m for stadium critical repairs? Share price must drop on this statement. How much debt is being declared? £400k to Orlit is a substantial amount.

Agree1 Disagree0

In addition £2.4m for January, £2.4m for February plus about £2.2m in footballing debts paid in February is an extra £7m. Plus say £2.4m X 3 (march, April, may) is another £7.2m. So the share issue gets them through to end May but how do they find £30m next year? Sell Murray park? Who owns it?
And their football is crap rotten and Ally snuffs out footballing revenue streams with constant efficiency.

Agree0 Disagree0

Declaring pre tax profit of £9.5m so taxman gets 20% of that? £1.9m.

Who knows corporation tax rate?

Agree0 Disagree0

Main rate corporation tax for 2012 is 24%. So on a declared £9.5m HMRC will collect £2. 28m due now.
I expect HMRC, as chuckie stated, forced the share issue in December and has forced these accounts to get their dosh.

Considering its the same football club, £127m in debt with an additional £47m on EBT appeals, if I were a creditor, say Ticketus owed 5 years of season tickets, I'd play chuckies game and send him invoices.

On the TUPE decision, all players/ clubs who lost money can legally sue for those amounts plus cost plus damages plus interest.

Agree2 Disagree0

Guess the finances is major February problem between chairman Murray and CEO Green.

But the media attempts to get rid of Murray, Keith Jackson articles were terrible. Murray is obviously justifiably concerned with the finances.

His statements are BS talking about reducing operating costs etc. When its a brand new club and company. He's now even talking as though ITS THE SAME COMPANY lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

£2.3m on 2012 tax due.
£2.4m a month jan to end July is £16.8m operating costs.
£2m paying footballing debts February.

That's £23m to end July with season tickets bringing in £8m.
Plus other debts/ directors bonuses,. Player bonuses.
USA Miller was right. Forbes magazine analysts right. Dave King was right.

Pre season tour of USA? Your having a laugh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Best one yet. our job was to stabilize the clubs finances. ehh? the club was liquidated and all debt disappeared did that not stabilize them and the new club started debt free

Agree1 Disagree0

Lets not forget the 100% salary bonus for Chico and friends when they win the league. mmmmmm. what's that coming over the hill?

Markiebhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol a TV article quotes him going from Administration to demoted to fourth tier. No mention of Liquidation.

Liquidation is being written out the story also the 276 creditors, £127m debt and a further £47m EBTs all written out the story.

Agree0 Disagree0

I never got the present I wanted this year looks like I've a better chance this year:-)

Agree1 Disagree0

Just let them get on with it, they will die again. As for oldco/newco etc consider this. They are liquidated for non payment of paye. Paye for employees ie the players. So who employed the players, club or company? If company ttthen what exactly is the club and who won the trophies? Or was paye for the club? In either case neither now exist. Oh and chico you better change the gates at ibrox, if you have any cash to do so!

7million loss with over 20million in bank, stop looking @ pictures and read the facts lok

Agree0 Disagree1

In the report on SLY it claims they have £21m in cash reserve in the bank so:- Did they win Euro Lotto?
I cannot believe a lower tier club with third division match price tickets can cover their running costs/bills?

JJ

Agree1 Disagree0

Operating loss mate for 7 months.
£16.6m operating costs = £28.5m a year. Or £21.4m to end of February.
It's clear the one off floatation kept them alive.

Agree0 Disagree0

£20m in the bank as of December 31st. How much will be there at the beginning of next season?. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

20mil in the bank, sounds like Greens usual BS. I can see another sinking ship on the horizon! And if that is the operating costs of a 3rd division team, is that not a tad unfair on the rest in the league. spending cap, wage cap etc should be brought in, brings fairness back to the game! They will go bust again and look for more hand outs from their own fans.

Agree0 Disagree0

Zombies mark 2 are going bust
