Anyone heard about Haris Duljevic?

Believable0 Unbelievable1

03 Aug 2016 22:18:19
Would imagine he is a back up signing if Sinclair deal falls through. Both left sided wingers.

Heard what exactly?
Do you know something we don't mate?

First time i've seen someone ask a question and answer it themselves, bizzare! lol.

Rather give calvin miller a chance.

Jamesbhoy67 do you still think toure is another pensioner and past it.

Agree0 Disagree8

04 Aug 2016 00:37:29
King Wullie i said i would rather have signed a younger player who was going to be the mainstay of our defence for a number of years than a one season 35 year old stop gap. And i said we can't slag sevco for signing pensioners when we signed a 35 year old player nearing the end of his career.

Agree8 Disagree5

How many players have they signed that's played cl football season in and out and also just played in a European final.

Agree8 Disagree8

{Ed007's Note - I was a bit meh about the signing but Toure has played in over 80 Eurpean ties throughout his career. He chose us over easy money in a luxurious environment with Monaco. If we had signed another CB for the future where does that leave Sviatchenko and Simunovic, we've still got Ambrose, Boyata and now McConnell making a fantastic claim for a first team spot (remember 2 weeks ago he was garbage on here?) We've also got Ajer who would be happy in there and finally a Celtic manager has realised that Lustig thrives playing in there and it's not as demanding on his body.
If we have a fully fit squad there's no place for another CB unless players leave or they are better than what we have.
Would a Shane Duffy be an improvement on any the squad CBs, would you have him over Simunovic, Sviatchenko or Toure - even Lustig? He's not any better than Boyata and apart from his blunders he's not a better player than Ambrose, so all he would be doing is stalling O'Connell's progression and possibly Ajer's too.
With everyone fit I'd be happy going into the season with the CB department we have, a mixture of the 3 I've mentioned in Europe and just mix and match accordingly for domestic matches. Every defender on our books are the best in Scotland and will cope comfortably with domestic games.}

04 Aug 2016 01:33:27
Jamesbhoy67 you must be having a laugh. Exactly who out of the players that Sevco have signed has the experience and medals that Toure has? yes he may be 35 but he is on a different planet compared to the dross that side has brought in.

Few saying on twitter him and Sinclair are booked for medicals.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2016 04:02:15
This was weeks ago i made that point and Willie obviously meant that because Toure played well in 20 minutes tonight what did i think of him now. Also in my point weeks ago i said i thought he might offload Boyata and Ambrose when he brought the centre half in and didn't see the point of bringing a guy in for just one season, not forgetting that Simunovic and Lustig are injury prone and may not be here long either.

Gunnie twitter been saying that for weeks take no notice it's all bollocks.

If basing arguments on a players ability due to their age, how does Lubo Moravcik fair?

Agree1 Disagree1

04 Aug 2016 19:14:38
Possibly the most skillful player Celtic have ever had on the books.

Wulliebhoy

Likelihood of Celtic signing a young emerging decent CB who becomes ( as you put it ) a mainstay for years to come and by logic becomes better and better with each passing year EQUALS a departure in year 2 if we're lucky. Either because he'll want to leave or we will elect to sell him

Ed makes a fine point. Bigger picture. Others progression etc. toure won't disturb that and may in fact be invaluable as a role model and as a proven success. It's like having a defensive coach and player all at the same time which will be great for the likes of boyata shevy and sumonovic.

Hearing Sinclair at the game ED, heard it on the radio! And close to a deal! Looks like u could be right about before the weekend!

03 Aug 2016 22:06:06
Was on Snyde1 earlier MR. rumours earlier to he was at the game. don't know how true it is but.

Agree0 Disagree3

03 Aug 2016 22:46:31
The deal is taking too long. Nothing like showing a player you really want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2016 01:36:38
I think we are showing the player that we want him Dafabet as we wouldn't have went back with another bid after the last one was rejected.
He would have probably signed already if Villa hadn't moved the goal posts after the deal was already agreed.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2016 10:51:32
Big toure was a no brainier can't believe people would doubt that signing.

Really lol wtf? Don't think any of us were thinking that lol.

03 Aug 2016 18:41:34
Here's hoping tonight's a good night.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 18:41:45
Happy to see Ambrose dropped but why has Rodgers gone with mcgregor and Forrest?

Agree2 Disagree1

03 Aug 2016 18:45:57
4.3.3 by the looks of it, looks like he's going for it, COYBIG.

Agree0 Disagree1

03 Aug 2016 18:53:55
Not sure about that. So kudos if we win.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 19:06:27
I wonder did Rodgers go with Forrest and Mc Gregor because he thought it was best to start with them .

Agree2 Disagree4

03 Aug 2016 19:47:14
OB

I won't answer that. He's the boss but where would our site be if we couldn't pass comment?

For the record I would only have ever put that eleven on the park if only that that eleven were match fit

This is a poor looking starting X1 but that doesn't mean I won't be roaring them on as I always do

I don't get Forrest at all. A player with a heart as big as a smartie someone said earlier and I could t agree more. Maybe tonight he will actually do something that's effective and productive.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 20:01:13
If he has to play Forrest then it's better to play him early then hook him off later. I still don't know why BR picks him at all, for anything, even making the flippin tea.
I suppose he'll go and score the decisive goal now! lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 23:21:49
In hindsight maybe we should all now realise why he picked McGregor and Forrest, certainly neither let the side down .
If Gordon didn't commit his Efe blunder we wouldn't have had the last 30 mins of hell, it would have been much more comfortable.

Agree0 Disagree3

04 Aug 2016 00:16:49
Like everyone I'm over the moon with the result but let's not kid ourselves as to the performance as we got out of jail tonight. Genuinely couldn't understand BR replacing Patrick Roberts, the one true creative spark in our team, and replaced him with the ineffective Stefan Johansen. Like the first leg, tonight's game by-passed McGregor and Armstrong who gave us very little in either attack or defence. It is beyond me how Rogic didn't get a run at some point. If I was Ryan Christie, Liam Henderson and Scott Allan then I'd be seriously scratching my head as to how McGregor is rated a better player.

Agree1 Disagree0

04 Aug 2016 12:10:31
Patrick Roberts was injured that's why he took him off.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2016 17:43:24
I understood that PR was njured Marco but could not fathom why he went with Johansen and not Rogic.

Supposedly Sinclair will be at the game tomorrow? Anyone else hear this, don't think it's true but here's hoping.

Not sure about that man but the Birmingham mail reported yesterday he's "open" to celtic move.

Agree0 Disagree2

03 Aug 2016 08:26:01
Think he's up for the move but Aston villa aren't just going to give him away! Yes he's had a bad season last year but the figures going on down there are crazy! I would expect villa to want between 4-5 million for him! Big fee for us but it's peanuts to the teams down there! We're going to have to come up with the dosh if we really want this boy! But I still expect this to rumble on and on! The ED said he'll be surprised if he's not a celtic player by the weekend. well I'll be even more surprised if he is!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 10:56:50
Dh88 I agree with the fee i think villa want between 4-5m for him.
Think we will pay 3m up front and another 1m in add ons. They just sold gueye to Everton for 7m + so they want as much cash as possible which I understand as there rebuilding to get back into PL.

I do think Ed is right tho we will have him for the weekend or beginning of next week but I'm a glass half full guy 😆.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 11:44:53
Villa have agreed to sign mccormack 12mill up front rising to 14 maybe they need to bring some cash in now.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 12:35:47
Tick67 what does glass half full mean 😂😂 wish I could share your optimism mate lol, but I hope your right and we get him in!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 15:06:23
Surely his value shouldn't double after a poor season and relegation though.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 14:59:35
It means I'm full of sh$@& mate 😆😆.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 15:00:39
Guey had a relegation release fee less than what villa paid for him!

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2016 15:57:10
😂😂😂 thought that mate!
