Good Evening Ed007, have you heard any 'rumours' linking Hooper to Everton or WBA ?
Mrs E {Ed007's Note - Neither of them would able to afford the fee as things stand. Every mid to lower level team in the EPL are being linked with Hooper but it is still LFC and Newcastle who remain the most interested.}

Sunderland are interested in him now, most likely boak at the asking price though. Don't see it being liverpool although I could be proved wrong, and only see him going to newcastle if they sell demba ba or cisse don't see them wanting to play second fiddle to hooper. Unless big demba comes the other way....we can only wish eh lol

What is the fee ed? everton spent £6 million on kevin mirrallas and just under £16 million in total this season, so a would think gary hooper would be affordable if they are intrested {Ed007's Note - The fee is currently £8 million. Everton might have spent that in the summer but their net spend was only £4.8 million, they would only be interested if one of their strikers was sold plus they are well covered in that area as well.}

Can you imagine the outcrying from the media and press if our manager had behaved the way Shiels and Lomas have in the past couple of weeks . This clown Shiels seems to have an opinion on everything even commenting on Big Vic and Broonys tackling........DH

hi folks, i was wondering if anyone knew what has become of Rabiu Ibrahim? He seemed to be a decent playmaker the once or twice he was given a game. strange that he seems to have dissappeared. Unfortunately we seem to have a bad habit of signing players then never really giving them a fair crack of the whip, although saying that, we don't always know what goes on in training and behind the scenes. Any ideas ed? {Ed007's Note - It was the physical side of the SPL that people thought he wouldn't handle. I would have thought he would be at least ready for a place on the bench in a few games, but alas it seems not yet.}

Is the match tomorrow a season ticket game? {Ed007's Note - No.}

ED007 I have to say well done to Celtic board for listening to fans and cutting prices. £12 adult £6 concessions. Let's get a good crowd there tomorrow.
I know it is more difficult in league games to cut prices as season ticket holders will have paid more, but even make say 5,000 tickets available at these prices or even £15 tops would attract more fans. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I'm all in favour of anything that can bring people through the gate and makes it easier for people considering the financial mess the country is in.}

Why on earth is there a Scottish cup tie at the start of Dec . Usually first weekend in Jan . I know tickets are at a snip tomorrow but I fear a reduced crowd due to midweek games , time of year and weather .......DH

just want to voice my opinions. My college class ( City of glasgow, hnd sports coaching year 2) had to do a sponsored walk from the college to ibrox, hampden and celtic park. we recieved gifts from rangers, got a tour, recieved gifts from the SFA and got a tour, celtic wouldn't entertain us. it was for yorkhill, one of celtic's charities, we were trending in glasgow and got an interview with clyde 1. We were all appauled and i have written a letter to celtic voicing my concerns. this is scandalous and as a season ticket holder for 3 years i feel extremely let down. also been told off of my dads friend that they were doing an auction for their terminally ill friend who wanted to take his children to disney land and celtic were asking for £300 for a signed top. anyone else heard any bad reports from the PR side of things? My friend lost her husband recently, he was only 33 and we had a charity night a few weeks ago to raise money for the British Heart Foundation¦both Celtic and Rangers donated stadium tours no problem. There was also signed tops etc in the raffle but not 100% where they came from. Celtic also donated a hospitality package for two people.
There's also this on their website

That's a shame that happened ~ Mrs E

Celtic give hundreds of thousands to charites every year. As stated Yorkhill being one of them. So while it was an amzing thing you and your class done, I don't feel Celtic "have to" give out any further money no matter how good the cause. I bet you don't walk by every Charity Worker in town and put money in the tins?

Well said post 3. PPL are so quick to slag of football clubs when they decline certain requests.
Sure if the original poster paid to every charity worker on the street then he wouldnt be able to afford a season book.
Paying £300 for a signed top is pennies compared to the money a raffle or auction could make when its the number 1 prize.

If an official charity approaches the club then I am sure they would be happy to donate stuff. Not just anyone looking for a freebie to auction at their own fund raiser. Quite right as well imo. There needs to be a line drew somewhere.

My dad did a charity event for the mcmillan cancer charity a few years ago...send them a letter with his official mcmillan charity number and withing a week or so he had a signed top, signed football, 2 tour tickets, a signed and framed picture of the squad and a few bits and bobs like cups, key rings etc...did the same with rangers and almost got exaclty the same minus a signed top, tour tickets or a picture, can't complain too much it made the event a fortune and that's what celtic fc are about helping out charities, its our history.

Are u writing to everyone that didn't contribute money? There is a difference between giving charity and expecting charity!
Be happy you got the money not bitterness of the money you didn't! Grow up

So if I phone up sevco and say I am looking for a signed top for a charity they will just send one out without checking? That's the new lining for the dugs basket sorted out then!
Agree0

I wouldn't worry about it Wilson. We were having a night to raise money for the Rangers Fighting Fund and 2 so called "legends" wanted an appearance fee to come along. One has his own newspaper column and the other made an ar$e of himself at the doors of Ibrox.Both of them are a total disgrace and I hope these actions are noted when we are back at the top.

One thing that really bugs me about some clowns on here. As soon as someone has a negative point to make they get slated for being a sevco fan. Get a grip eh!! On the original point we started a small supporters club here in Germany with about 20 people. Had our first party and wrote to Celtic asking if they could help with some sort of prize for our new CSC and they gave us tours of Parkhead for four people.

22 yo, 135 games 60 goals in Iranian league, 13 caps 4 goals for Iran, on FIFA's 100 young players to watch list, highest ever Iranian transfer fee.
Whislt he seems a good finisher the standard he is up against is absolutely dire, honestly awful, plus he only signed for Ra polis this year so he may cost a bit more than expected.
