Believable6 Unbelievable3

The deal was never on mate just paper talk.

{Ed007's Note - Celtic contacted Michael Emenalo at Chelsea two weeks ago about taking Atsu on loan.}

must of been what rd was saying about we have a list and can't always get our number one targets (or something like that)

wonder where the lad from cardiff was on the list?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes ed but mourinho said he wants him playing in a league so he's ready for Chelsea next year not the spl. And she. I posted last week about this it was guaranteed it wasn't going to happen.

{Ed007's Note - It's nothing to do with Mourinho, that's not how Chelsea works. Abramovich and his group of footballing advisors decide what happens and Abramovich listens to them over anyone, including his managers. It was his advisors that flagged up they weren't happy with AVB's training methods and techniques so they brought in independent experts to study training sessions then decided to sack AVB.}

ed I am not going to pretend I am a celtic fan because I ain't but what I am is a football fan and love to air an honest opinion of how I see thing's for me ronny delia got it all wrong last night from the very start why was the new guy brought straight into the team when he had not trained with his team mates or got to know them properly. also why was izzaguirre not playing from the start and also for me biton should have been brought on with kayal to really tighten up the midfield when it was 2-1 which would have been the perfect score for celtic. it was one of the worst defensive perfomances I have seen from a scottish team in europe for a long time. also where do you stand on this not playing at parkhead thing for me it maybe a good thing because they won't have the pressure of 50 odd thousand fan's on them and they can go out in the second leg and play with no pressure. a forlorn task for celtic but not impossible but the defending needs to be improved drastically and stokes needs to start in place of pukki.

Think it was obvious the Atsu deal was off.

That's interesting Ed about Chelski. I knew RA was a bit of a dictator but that totally undermines the reason for appointing a manager at all if you ask me.

I really can't help but feel my frustration over lack of investment BEFORE qualifiers has been justified. Karagandy we got through by a midgies dick. When RD came out and said this squad was good enough to qualify, I just laughed.

{Ed007's Note - It's a more continental/European approach, Jim, clubs appoint coaches rather than managers as we know them, Liverpool have a transfer committee and it's them who decide transfer policy and targets although Rodgers is on the committee.}

Gujo65. Atsu. only wants to go to everton on loan with option for them to buy. he is currently today on merseyside awaiting medical

There's a deal in place which sees Forster going to Southampton after the second leg, unsure of the fee just now but Southampton are also hoping to sign Marcus Rojo from Sporting Lisbon which means Van Dijk won't be going to them.

Koeman on the blower trying to cancel Forster deal

Half of me is absolutely gutted with that terrible performance; however in some ways it was maybe not a bad thing. I, u as celtic supporters are continually short changed with signings, whilst selling for big money and making plenty in the champions league. Why should we continually pay hard earned money in these austere times to watch an average team, with a board not prepared to spend. I'll b there next week but they might not b getting much more pennies out of me. Need big changes from top right to bottom.

And I'm not interested in hearing that we are celtic fans and should always get behind the team. That cuts both ways in my opinion. Absolute shambles!!

These are difficult days to be a Celtic fan, it looks like their will be many more .

What's the new boy like, never seen him in action?

S

I defended Ambrose on here before but based on tonight his critics are proving me wrong. Also would like to add that Mulgrew is never a midfielder. His first touch is worse than mine! He's been at fault for 2 goals with very poor midfield play. After 45 minutes the jury is still out on the new guy. He hasn't had a touch!
