The guy on the left is and employee within celtic football club

And the boy on the right looks a bit like the holy goalie.

Non of them look like footballers TBH.

I kind of know what you mean Gazdcelt. At first glance I thought the guy on the right was Jeroen Verhoeven though. Really don't know why this pic caused such a stir, or how people managed to see resemblences to decent footballers.

Having been on twitter tonight and seen a post from Elfsborg defender Skúli Jón Friðgeirsson and a reply from Alfred Finnbogason, I am under the distinct impression Finnbogasn is trying to keep things very hush hush as there may be a chance of a Celtic bid. Despite previous reports saying his agent has rubbished rumours that Celtic are interested, I reckon that quietly in the background somewhere, there is something in this.

If there is anything in it seems that there is the obvious gamble we beat elfsborg before making a move. God forbid we go out as our target level would go down with only europa prospects that would mean the likes of doyle could be our lot.But i'm very positive we will get past elfsborg but may need to work hard to get there

Hearing a rumour from central europe that we are in for a 4m pound striker.
Peter Lawwell was rumoured to be in the netherlands and people think it is for alfred finbogasson. Really good striker but he is valued at 7m euros by heerenveen.
currently in amsterdam on a short break with friends and i'm not saying this is definetely concrete but sources are mentioning austria wiens phillip hosiner as celtics main striker target, he is valued at around 4m so I hope this is true! Absolute goal machine.
derk boerregter will be unveiled very soon and I have a slight suspicion we will bring in a striker and another midfielder

Evening Ed007 I noticed tonight that phillip hosiner played tonight for his team in the champions league qualifier! Would that mean he would be cup tied for this competition? Surely if this is the case he is a no go! {Ed007's Note - Yep.}

What I fail to understand is why we don't already have the 4 million pound striker to replace Hooper. We could have put the 1.7 million we paid for Balde and the 2 to 3 million for Derk together and already have the guy in place.
We are told that Balde will take time to come good and we have commons, ledley, mulgrew or sammy who can play left midfield.
A risky strategy which I hope won't backfire on us.

Im a Forest fan. I have to say you must have na awesome scouting system there at Celtic. You Always unearth quality European players (from Henrik to the presente day). Is Wilson coming to Forest do you think?

I doubt Celtic will let another first team player go. He was our most consistent defender last season and we'd be stuck with Ambrose. God forbid. I don't see Wilson going anywhere.

The Nottingham Post is reporting that a fee has been agreed for Kelvin Wilson and the deal is expected to go through in the next 24 hours. Do you think this is true Ed?

He's definitely suspect at lb no pace or positional ability. CB he had a good season and his left peg is a wand. I've often said I wish we could just bring him on to take free kicks and corners like a kicker in American football but only Sevco can change tge rules of football.

Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to see how his partnership with van Dijk developed

Forest fans don't hate you. A few maybe recentful of that fact u got wilson on a bosman. but we only hate derby. Just come one here to check what u guys are saying to the Wilson saga.

I'm a Forest Fan and don't hate Celtic, and don't really know of any that do. Paranoid? certainly not Jealous. I hate Derby but that's not Jealously either obviously.

To the Forest fans who mentioned the bosman. You could have had money for him if your manager wasn't a spiteful wee rat. We made an offer of around 500k in the January and wee Billy decided to keep him and freeze him out. Before you mention that 500k is nothing you have to remember that you only offered 3 times as much for a guy with 2 yrs left.

Hi I am a Forest fan and actually support Celtic as my previous employers were Rangers fans and because of Martin Oneill being a red along with Commons I support the Hoops every time.
Rangers are a waste of glasgow space.

Think it's to do further checks on previous injuries with his back. I've seen pictures of him in Celtic Park today, he was holding a number 20 shirt. The deal will be confirmed soon.

Good deal if everything is okay, I would like to see this one play.

I'm a bit dubious about paying £2m+ for a winger with persistent back problems. This medical has taken ages so there must be something that's holding it up.

The person in the picture, who is supposedly a player we are signing, looks about 40. It definitely isn't Lasogga. Looks a bit like Laudrup, maybe he's coming for a refund on Ki.

Lasogga would be a great signing - we have seemingly been sniffing about him before. That said - he isn't the guy in the photo, and he would (I think) be too expensive to attract the interest of Peter Lawwell. Fingers crossed, but I can't see it happening. Jean-Pierre Laguerre

The guy in the picture is the players liason officer (or something similiary), he is NOT a player.

Not sure how many east coasters are on this site but just to let you know East Five are playing a Celtic IX tomorrow night at New Bayview . Fiver to get in and kids are free with a paying adult. Not expecting any big names for obvious reasons but should be a good night.
Helps I'm only a ten minute walk right enough!
