What's happing with the keeper situation ed? With the croation guy not being offered a contract surely nl has seen some 1 else? {Ed007's Note - NL has said that he is still looking for a GK.}

He has someone else inmind as he said he was hopefully of having them inplace before the aberdeen match so he must have someone.

Is there any truth to the rumours about rolando bianchi? :) {Ed007's Note - The story started in the Italian press that CFC had contacted Torino regarding him. The Torino president Urbano Cairo has said about Bianchi and defender Angelo Ogbonna "For the time being I am keeping hold of them. They are super important players for a team with Torino's ambitions}

I wouldn't take his age into account as a bad thing. I think if we could afford to buy him and give him a couple of years contract, he could be a rock for us, in spl and Europe. Age dosent affect keepers as much as outfield players, look at van der sar, I'd still have him at 41.

Not a rumour, just an opinion;
Does anybody else think that the inter keeper Castellazzi, who played in the Dublin cup against us, could be good signing? I thought he was outstanding
And Ed what would u make of the chances of getting him in on a possible loan, since he is 2nd choice anyway? {Ed007's Note - He only signed for Inter last summer on a 2 year deal, and he is 36. I wouldn't imagine CFC would be interested, and I hope they wouldn't be.}

Based on today's performance I would sign him. But based on his age, contract etc don't think he is an actual possibility. Definitely impressed tho.

Somebody fetch pletikosa back from croatia, zaluska just cant cut it. pletikosa would be perfect on a free, as he is experienced and a good quality keeper.

bad decision on NL's part to let him go IMO

His agent was too demanding and messed the deal up

After watching the 1st half of the Inter game, we seriously need a keeper now. What was Zaluska doing with that 2nd goal. Our defence needs to tighten up, ditch glenda. And big sammy is a balloon. What a frustrating player. Technically a good player but not consistent. Apart from that, I think we've played some good football.

I was watching the first half, he had a couple of good saves even though the inter players were offside, then he tipped a cracking save round the post.......and I thought, maybe the keeper has just not had a proper chance. Then the second goal, schoolboy error, just very poor judgement.

Celtic should forget about Bellamy.. ( don't mind if he does come) but swp would be a great signing to get city don't even want him.. What do you think Ed? TRICKYCELT. {Ed007's Note - I don't rate him at all, and he is on 65k a week at City.}

When we lost the league @ motherwell in the last match of the season, twice Bellamy was through 1-1 with the keeper and failed to score, if we are going to spend money in the region of the £30-40K per week per week I expect we would have to pay as part of a loan deal, I think there is better ways it could be spent on a quality target man up front.

SWP ? better off with SJP He is a headless chicken, full of pace, with very little end product. Another over hyped english player

SWP ran a mock today so was that just a freak game where his end product was immense? he is a quality player and id love him in the hoops but once again wages look like a stumbling block.

We can afford most of his wages for half a season as we werew paying keano 65k a week

Bianchi is not new to Britain, as he had a

Will Mphela/Lacny/Pletikosa play on sunday? heard pletikosa didnt get offered a deal and went back to croatia. {Ed007's Note - No trialists can play in Dublin and Mphela and Lacny will not be offered deals as far as I know.}

Apparently the keeper ain't getting a deal either and let's be honest if he was getting a deal he would hav got 1 by now {Ed007's Note - I was just catching up with that. He won't be offered a deal either.}

Word is the club are trying to offload hooiveld , loovens , murphy , cha , possibly samaras to bring in shane Long A possible player/players plus cash deal will be offered but this depends on the players wanting to leave , ASWEDE
