Two more deals to be pushed through after confirmation of Nir Biton and Teemu Pukki. I understand one of them is a centre half and the other from what I've heard. people will make a big deal about him.

Sorry MikeyBhoy and anonymous poster, but I don't know. I'm only relaying what I've been told. Wouldn't rule out a late late move for Finnbogason though.

You are a bad boy. You tell half a story then leave the poor folk here to join the missing dots. And you know only too well that people here have the most bizarre method of joining dots. Sometimes they even try to add dots into the puzzle that don't fit. And most of the time the dots don't join up at all.
I recommend that in future you supply all the dots needed to complete the puzzle, otherwise you should play with the dots yourself.

Celtic look to complete triple capture of Biton, Ciani and Pukki
CELTIC are closing in on a trio of new signings and hope to conclude the captures of Nir Biton, Michael Ciani and Teemu Pukki before the transfer window closes on Saturday night.
I really hope we sign a finisher

Get your facts right BJTT Saturday at 11pm. Scottish football let down badly again with the people in charge making stupid decisions. Closes everywhere else on 2nd Sept so we can still lose players that we can't replace

There's literally no reason what so ever for the "powers that be" to have made this amazingly stupid decision?!?! We have enough stupid rules and other guidelines against us for our own to be going against us? This seriously sadness and baffles me bhoys! But here's hoping we get the new bhoys we want and tbh the only possible move would be if someone last min came in with a ridiculously HUGE cash bid for big Fraser IMO! Engerlands future (n clearly best keeper) when Woy hodgenson realises this.
Cheers bhoys

Can only hope and pray someone comes in and takes Forster as far away from Celtic Park as possible, the man is an imposter. He must be the worst keeper we have had at Celtic in the last. well the worst keeper ever. Please don't be confused by the fact he made a few decent saves against Barca, he has more than balanced that out with the amount of howlers he has produced as well. Can we all remember the ones with the Charlie Mulgrew passback, Kelvin Wilson header back. could carry on all day. he is too scared to be a keeper. I don't know who could do a job but I do know that he has caused every defender brought into the club to become very nervy when playing in front of him. His distribution is worse than awful, and he has cost us more goals down to the fact he is a coward. Don't get me wrong he will probably go on to become a decent keeper, but never a top drawer keeper. Boruc was top drawer, this guy is average and if you believe he is England's best keeper then you are as blind as Stevie Woods. Allymac

Can't help but thinking it'd be better to take most of these teams on away first of all - but who cares -
I'd take Europa Football after christmas (once we've had our kicks & made our coin)

Stevie, I think Barcelona in the last game is the best. I'd expect them to win the group and might play a weakened team against us if they have already qualified, like they did against Benfica last season, giving us a better chance of getting a result.

2 away games out of last 3 makes a very difficult group even harder.
We are certainly not getting any breaks today.

Tough group to get out of but none of those teams will fancy coming to Paradise. If the board makes three descent signings to replace the main guys who left who knows what can happen. At the end of the day there are no easy games in the Champions League as we're in with the Big Boys once again. Hail Hail.

I wish we could have got a top 4 English club in our group so we can pump them home and away. Food for thought for the arrogant EPL mob. If it was not for a diving love rat Giggsy taking a dive we could have got 6 points from Man U a few seasons ago. Aw well another 3 glorious nights at Parkhead will ding dang doo!

Draw could not have been any kinder okay you got barcelona who should win the group but ac milan are not the team they used to be with no real stand out players to be wary of maybe balotelli if he is on form and not sulking. and ajax are in the proccess of rebuilding with most of their players leaving this transfer window with christian eriksen the latest one likely to leave the amsterdam arena.
a quick point about last night I know celtic got through but honestly do you think scott brown should have been sent off for the stamp on the karagandy player I think he should have been and it might have made the difference in the game also commons scoring right on half time took the pressure of celtic if they had gone in at half time 0-0 it would have been a very difficult task to get through. anyway honest opinions on brown not just sayin it was not a red card because your fans of celtic.
anyway apart from that well done on getting through and good luck in group stages.

West brom could make an emergency move for Celtic striker Anthony Stokes as manager Steve Clarke faces the prospect of recent signing Nicolas Anelka retiring.

I have it on very good accord that the potential loan signing will be Lukaku from Chelsea. A lot of fans were of the opinion that it would be Demba Ba from Chelsea but in matter of fact it is Lukaku Celtic are trying to bring on loan. Neil Lennon has requested to the board that they pull out one major bit of transfer business with his sights set on either Lukaku or Alfred finbogasson

Bollox to this loan signing carry on, no matter who it may be, the CFC board owe the fans, if it means pushing the boat out a bit, and if signing Finnbogason is a possibility, if he wants to come, if he's going to accept a wage that will not upset the wage structure to the effect that everyone else in the team's going to be chapping the door looking for a raise, then get him in, he will score for fun in spl, will score in CL, will make a profit or at the very least break even if he decides to move on in a coupla years, if Lenny wants him, get him in, Mr Lawell!

If anyone out they're really thinks for wan minute we had/have a chance for baba signing (loan or deal) your literally a complete person.
Lukaua is a possible (very unlikely) but you never know.

I said last week I thought there would be a loan signing and I had it on pretty good authority it would be Jelavic. He was on the bench last night and I think if a loan signing comes would expect it to be him.

Nir Biton was at Celtic Park tonight, signing subject to passing medical and being granted a work permit.
Potential Demba Ba loan bid also in the works. However, John Guidetti has now sprung to the top of the list again ahead of Pukki and Finbogasson.
Believable8
Unbelievable21
Nir biton and pukki looks likely but demba ba never going to happen.lawell and the powers that be are not going to push boat out for anyone.neil Lennon more or less said he's been let down by the money men.we just scraped through tonite beating a very average side.there will be much tougher tests ahead.the team we have at the minute as much as I love them we are just not good enough to compete at the top table in Europe.my plea to mr lawell is show us the respect we deserve with speculating to accumulate rather than just accumulating by ripping the spine out of the team.we are now were we deserve to be so give us the team WE deserve to watch.in my humble opinion finnbogason is now must.he is the player on every fans lips.he will score goals for fun in the spl and show his class in Europe also.pay 5 or even 6 million.we will double that at least in a year or two.
Agree0
Disagree0
Totally agree mate, time for the money men to cough up.
Finbogasson is an absolute must. He's the only one that will keep the fans happy.
Scraped through after the spine has been ripped out. Give us finbogasson and the fans will be happy.
Great result last night, but to get anore results, against the big boys we need a goalscorer and an experienced centre half.
