Just wondered if you knew of any further interest in Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric? I understand there was a potential deal in place towards the end of the transfer window however Celtic dropped their interest in favour of their first choice target Stefan Scepovic! The guy has scored 18 goals in 12 appearances so far this season including a 13 minute hat-trick against Feyenord in the Europa League! The guy looks like a born goal machine! Are you aware if there is still interest in this guy Ed?
{Ed007's Note - I don't know how close we were to signing Kramaric in the summer but Fulham had agreed a £5m fee with HNK Rijeka and Chelsea had scouted him all season along with Fulham. Fulham decided to sign Ross McCormack for £11m instead. I seen someone scored a hat-trick against Feyenoord but it never twigged it was him, I really don't know if anyone is showing interest in him, sorry.}
Don't think we want him now as we will sign guidetti on a Pre contract.so no need for a striker now
Kramaric would have been a fantastic signing, don't know if any truth but he's agent claimed celtic left them standing in the rain they thought a deal was done then we pulled plug, I can kind a believe this because I reckon the transfer fee we would have to have payed would have been more than what we agreed for Scepovic so think Liewell would have been breathing a sigh of relief when Scepovic done he's u-turn. I could be wrong but nothing surprises me way our board.
