Brines Is the man who said he did not feel threatened when he was surrounded and man handled by rangers players at an Old Firm game. Todays picture looks to me like he was intimidating Neil to get a reaction Julie.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cha failed with his appeal against his red card , and the SFA will close ranks and back up Murray and Brines , doesnt matter if they are lying through their teeth or not , that is what they do , and as it happens to be Neil Lennon , so much the better , he'll get a long ban again ,Hawd it and Dodit didnt feel threatened by the actions of Bougherra and Diouf but did when Neil asked why his player was sent off , utter p*sh , but typical of the SFA , lookout for Rangers getting off lightly if not scot free from the "Wrong Doing" enquiry .

aston villa to offer newcastle 6 million for frazer foster {Ed007's Note - They can offer £20 million if they want. If CFC offer Forster acceptable terms part of the loan agreement is a fixed price for CFC of £2 million. That is non-negotiable.}

Believable15 Unbelievable13

Then we can sell 2 Villa after we pay 2mil lol
Why are Villa interested when they have Given?

Non starter

To be honest,i would love to see The Holy Goalie back.

Yes lets get the wonderful ARTUR BORUC back home where he belongs..

Agree0 Disagree0

I love the hoops but i have to say artur boruc showed celtic no respect as when he left for italy he went and lost 2 stone in weight why did he not feel he had to be in top shape for the hoops??

Seeing the discussions past two days about Lennon, my take on things is
that he came in steadied the team, got rid of a lot of deadwood and then brought in good, young hungry players in their place. As with all young players there will be dips in form etc.. but mostly Celtic are going in right direction I think Neil now knows players he can trust and in the summer I predict a few players going elsewhere, maybe even some bigger names. We all know our squad is too big and needs trimming, so either Neil sells some or just frees them to free up the wages.

We need to sign Forster up now, if Lenny does not trust K Wilson for big games then bring in somebody else. The Polish boy does not look like making the grade, so bring in someone else to share burden with Hooper, Stokes and Samaras. We need another winger to share load with young Forrest (Ibrahim?) but Forrest needs to improve his passing and crossing.
I think at least 6 maybe more will leave come summer, bring in a dominant centre half and a big strong centre forward and keep the rest of squad for another year.

Lastly Neil does need to improve his after match comments, he comes across as a poor loser and can sound churlish which only gives his detractors an excuse to get at him. Timalloy

I think we have some exciting centre halfs for the future but we need someone with experience to organise that back line. no-one knew who to pick up and mcculloch/aluko did everything they wanted without trouble.

seen in the sun craig gordon is out of contract in the summer. a commanding voice, a proven goalkeeper i'd be enquiring now before handing the magpies 2-3 million for forster

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate Craig Gordon is finished. get big Forster signed and pronto! Agree with OP, we need a commanding centre half same up front and the following could go and I wouldnt be bothered:

Cha
Ki
McCourt
Hooper (because we would get a decent return on him)
Loovens
Bangura (Lets face it, it hasnt worked)
Mark Wilson (injury prone)

Agree0 Disagree0

We have a Polish centre half signed on a bosman coming in at the summer get rid of loovens, big dan(both out of contract) and k wilson who looks as though he aint got it that will free up some wages along with cha, m wilson and o dea who are all out of contract you could also add josh thompson, murphy, mcginn and most likely the derry pele

Agree0 Disagree0

Good point. i would also like to see us go for a left back to give a bit of competition to izzy. the young lad at dundee utd is out of contract and looks a good prospect. this season we have tried 6 players while izzy has been out

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we need a midfield enforcer, someone in the mould of a Patrick Viera.O'Neil's team had Lambert and Lennon and they covered for each other so if we could get someone to team up with Broony then IMO would do me nicely.Agree we need to trim squad.

I thought NL was maturing this season as a manager and as a person, but he has been - for another year - dragged through Hell with a disgusting court case and death of a close friend. Then we have the added pressures of a LC Final defeat to Killie against the odds and then a trip to Govan to win the SPL.
No wonder he flipped! Who wouldn't?
He does have to pick his battles and bite his tongue, however as they are just waiting to make an example of him.
He has gathered a good young team but I always wanted a couple of older heads in defense and midfield for experience when we needed leadership.
I think we have went for quantity instead of quality in January and the latter additions have highlighted this by their non inclusion on match days.
Rasmussen, M. Wilson, Juarez, Loovens, McCourt and Blackman then add Ibrahim, Brozek, Lustig and Bangura and we are paying wages to spectators like never before and there is still O'Dea and McGinn who I think may still be on the books.
Anyway let's finish the season on a high and then have a clear-out and get some quality and experience into the club.

Well said Timalloy- Good sensible post mate. @ Jungle Jim - Agree with majoriy of your post, but the "their waiting on him" part doesn't stack up. NL has made a rod for his own back, by his own actions, demeanour, and disrespect towards this country and it's football fans. Including Celtic's own fans. His "Sums things up in this country" statement is rediculous. Forget about SFA,SPL, Referess etc. He didn't even make it clear in his original interview who it was that advised him to go to the press room, turns out it was his own security staff.
While most open minded people (including Timalloy and your own post) will admit to Lenny's shortcomings, there are a few deluded amongst us that think Lenny is standing up for something righteous. Ask yourself do you honestly believe that is what he is doing? If so why is he being economical with the truth? You should know what i'm on about,if you think about things. Not just on Sunday, why has he not came out with what was said between AM and himself at Parkhead? Why is he pointing out things that he never done on Sunday("Never swore" - "Didn't point a finger" - "i have witnesses" etc. He may not have berated the referee to his face at half time, but i think we'll find out that he was reported by the match delegate/4th official. He's been in this country long enough as a player, coach, and manager to know better. It's not as if he just arrived last week from Leicester city is it?
Just for the record, i don't "hate" NL, i just can't understand his behaviour at times, and the (seems to me) unnecessary pressure he brings upon himself at times.

Why is it only Rangers fans that go on about NLs actions and demeanour . Sorry every body can't be like St Ally with his handshakes and jovial banter. His disrespect for this country, the country that produces morons who kick you unconscious in a lane and leave you for dead, the country that produces morons who jump out from the terraces and try to harm you for doing your job or the country that produces morons who sit in their pits and make homemade nail bombs and send them to hurt and maim no wonder he let's off steam now and again.......DH

Agree0 Disagree0

Stevie-A-Bear you're accusing Neil Lennon of being economical with the truth. I think you should be more concerned of who's been economical with the truth over the past 10 - 15 years at your own club, you have been spoon fed lie after lie from people within your own club and from the scottish journalists (and I use the term loosely) who were sucking on the teat of david murray.

Lennon spent cup final week studying the hoses at cheltenham and tweeting his tips instead of preparing, he did the same last week before Gers match, the preparation was shocking and slack. Im also sick of the Lennon side show, the man in my opinion hasnt the class to be a veltic manager great like Stein , Oneil and Mcneil
