Don't understand how a club the size of Hibs needs an emergency loan signing, surely they have a a young player they can promote to the first team squad.

Good luck to him. Nice guy, and Hibs possibly better suited to his current level of ability etc. Will probably do a job for them. Given that's he is away in summer and needs to play to be seen i wish him the best of luck.

Celtic need plenty of luck with fans like you . The abuse that Efe got from the fans on forums and loud mouths from stands must have affected his confidence . Surely a player lacking in confidence is likely to make more mistakes rather than less .
How can a Celtic fan claim to be a supporter when instead of encouraging all Celtic players they do their damnest to erode the confidence of players they take a dislike to.

the guy is just shite get over it, its clowns like that that have held us back in recent years its time to spend money to put us back where we belong in europe, you'll be saying next that biggins muggleton cascarino miku etc etc didn't make it at celtic because they were berated by fans, no it wasnt it was just that they were crap.

Old boy I think you used the same argument to defend Ronnie. Think changing to Brendon was a better move. Fee is not a bad player but obviously BR does not see value in him. Your opinion or my opinion won't alter that. I think he will do well at Hibs and good luck to him.

I thought that when Efe, first came he looked a really good player, then he went to the Africa cup, and when he came back Neil Lennon, more or less through him, travel tired and all straight into a European game, Efe had just came down from the plane and there was a taxi waiting to take him straight to the game, (ok, that's an exaggeration, he had to go through passport control first) , (ok, that was a joke) , but the point was he played that night, and he should never have, the mistakes he made in that game ruined his confidence, and sealed his fate with some of the Celtic support, Neil Lennon's is probably doing a 'my name is earl's, cos he had a huge part to play I. Efes downward spiral.

Probably the first time ever but i agree with aindoh it was scandalous how efe was treated by lennon and commons and a large selection of our support which destroyed his confidence good luck to him.

Agree3 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - The same fans that booed Johansen our POTY off the park while trolling the internet screaming that Scott Allan should be playing.... I'd have Efe playing at CB or CDM before Mulgrew who was let away with murder by the support every time he played.
Johansen would be running amok for us in the No.10/ CAM position under Rodgers and with Rogic still struggling for fitness.}

Ed, Armstrong is a better player than SJ.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Armstrong doesn't play as a CAM though. And Johansen would have been a better player than Bitton. Having a midfield 3 of Brown, Johansen, Armstrong would be better than having Bitton in there as has been happening the past couple of matches when we've played more a 4-3-3. Then when we do play 4-2-3-1 Brown and Armstrong are the two anchors and Johansen would have been in the CAM of the 3 seeing as Rogic is out injured again.}

01 Mar 2017 18:22:11
i liked johansen he had that bit of nastiness that's needed in the midfield battles.

Agree4 Disagree2

01 Mar 2017 19:34:01
No he doesn't ed but he is BR 1st choice in that position when Rogic injured.
SJ for me didn't score enough to play that position (a discussion I had with a few here with the Commons v SJ debate. ) SJ also had the silly habit of making rash challenges and getting booked needlessly.
Armstrong is much more reliable.
I really believe it will be Brown, Armstrong, Eboue. 2 from 3 and BR will buy a No 10.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - When has Armstrong played in Rogic's position, in the middle of the attacking 3? People seem to say that yet it's simply not true, Stuart Armstrong is not a CAM and without Rogic we've mostly been playing in a 4-3-3.}

01 Mar 2017 22:32:55
He hasn't ed its a slightly different role tho same as SJ who didn't play it either.
Both play similar but its Armstrong for me all day long.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - So where did Johansen play in Ronny Deila's 4-2-3-1? You're comparing players that play in different positions, Armstrong is nothing to do with it and I've explained why - this is up there with people that want to play Tierney at LW.
I really can't see the point you're trying to make.
Celtic playing 4-2-3-1 with Brown and Armstrong as the 2, with Johansen playing as CAM role COULD have potentially been better than having to play 4-3-3 with Bitton in beside Brown and Armstrong. I think Johansen's energy could have been useful and I think Rodgers would have got him back to playing the way he was in his first year and if he did he wouldn't have been any threat to Armstrong's position in the team, Armstrong's competition comes from Bitton, Johansen would have been competing with Rogic for a starting spot.}

01 Mar 2017 23:42:53
Point is simple ed, SA or SJ its SA for me all day long.
SJ didn't play CAM all that often it was a makeshift postion for him just like it is for SA.
SJ for me is a DM player like he is for his country.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - This is just pointless, try actually watching games.}

02 Mar 2017 07:47:50
Completely agree. SJ would have flourished in this team. He would be scoring goals and we wouldn't need to sign another no.10. As ed said SA ain't a 10 so can't compare. Efe was different class until that juve game, guy tried to dribble with the ball and play the celtic way, shame he made mistakes. No matter what the guys always got a smile on his face and he loves celtic.

Agree0 Disagree0

Its too easy to say he would have done this or that, the fact is he didn't.
He was never a goalscorer and people are forgetting the sitters he missed.
