The post about Joe cole to Celtic is real spoke to raymond sparks the football agent and he says Joe cole agent is in talks with Celtic about possible loan deal until jan for celts cl group push they are trying to get Liverpool to pay 60 percent of wages Liverpool maybe just want him in shop window to punt him in jan what better stage than the best club comp in the world {Ed007's Note - David Giess is not in talks with CFC. Joe Cole is looking to move back to the London area and LFC have offered him to Fulham as part of a deal for Clint Dempsey.

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Cole only has a year left on his contract. So loaning him to Celtic doesn't put him in the shop window it just runs down his contract.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cole to West Ham.

Wolves CD Berra on the move ? ....TTTS

Believable3 Unbelievable14

Seen this on a few other places , shocking if true, the guy is no better than we have.
john88

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't rate the guy at all, in any case I can't see us playing two left-footed CH's

Agree0 Disagree0

We haven't replaced two centre halfs though. Celtic WILL bring in a centre back better than Berra but still leaves us one short. I'd have him in the squad no bother. Wanyama will only really play midfield this season so that only leaves Mulgrew Rogne and Wilson, the latter two are prone to a niggle or two.

"Joe Cole to Celtic on a season-long loan deal. Champions League football said to be a big factor in the deal with Liverpool paying almost half of his wages."

This was on the main rumours site. Can't see it happening but thought I'd repost it and see what peoples opinions are

Green surfer {Ed007's Note - I said on another thread that Cole's wages are £90k a week, we could never afford a deal and don't really need him as a player.}

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Yeah I'm of the same opinion ed, think we're well covered on the wings or at least we will be when mcgeoch is back. Also, is ibrahim injured at the moment? Thought he might have got a run out at Inverness! Green surfer {Ed007's Note - Ibrahim missed the Inverness game with a slight groin injury.}

Agree0 Disagree1

I personally would absolutely love Joe Cole at Celtic. I think sitting behind hopper he would put an extra 10k fans in Celtic park {Ed007's Note - Are you sure you are thinking about the same player?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Would have the joe cole of 5 or 6 years ago...definitely, now.....definitely not!

taco

Agree0 Disagree0

Love to see him pull on the hoops would rather have him on the wing than Jesus lol on behind hooper :) good to see lots of rumours

Agree0 Disagree0

The robbie kean loan deal backfired and he was on silly money

Heard on TV that Johnny Russell could be on the move. Fingers crossed bhoys and ghirls. Julieghirl

Believable16 Unbelievable11

Would be glad if he came to paradise, but with his recent displays for Utd,i wonder how much theyd want to sell him for. Gbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he doesn't move to Celtic though. I'd rather give Tony Watt a chance than bring in that fella. He's no better than we have.
Anton

Agree2 Disagree0

Could really only see this happening if we were thinking of selling either Stokes or Hooper.
He is similar to what we already have IMHO.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would we want him? Hes no better than what we have ? The point is to strengthen the team when adding players why cant people see that?

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard he's on the move but to Huddersfield who have also targeted McKay Steven. It was on the main page of this site earlier today

Gary

Agree0 Disagree0

Is the whole point of our policy not to sign players with potential, develop and sell on for a profit? bit like paying 80k to Airdrie for Watt. Why did we sign him then previous posters?
Russell would be a good addition to our squad, would also put pressure on Hooper & Stokes (when fit) who started the season far too complacently.
Problem now is can we afford him with English sides sniffing about, I fear as with a long list of targets penny pinching will see us lose out. We put in a low offer back in Jan which was turned down. Why not just pay the fee and be done with it. Stevo Dundee

Agree0 Disagree0

Just been reported. everton are looking at him.....

Agree0 Disagree0

I like Russell and he's a good Celtic man but i would let this one go. It would be better for the player to move to England.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry guys but know a close family ! The kid has his heart set on a move down south. Its not going to happen as much as we would all love it to? Caldo boy

Just heard that if we reach cl group stages , berbatov will be a season long loan, costing 1.5 million and 32k a week . That's the experience for the cl, and my other post we have the center half and henrikson? Roll on friday,
John88
Ps the ref in the zombie game absolutely shocking the honest mistakes

Believable13 Unbelievable21

No offence mate but seriously that smells like bull to me, Berba to us, no chance, hope your right and I`m more than willing to apologise if you are

Agree1 Disagree0

Really? isnt he in then last year of his contract? Pretty clear SAF wants rid of him so why not just sell him ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Reports that Berbatov is signing for Fiorantina

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed whats your view on this? Would love it to be true but cant see it btw What about Klose were linked with him last season.
Paderbhoy {Ed007's Note - No chance. Man Utd triggered a years option on his contract with a view to getting a half decent fee for him or in the eventuality of the RVP deal collapsing they weren't left short. Fiorentina have had a 5 Million Euros offer accepted.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see Berbatov dropping 70k per week especially when he has offers from Russia which will be miles better than we can offer. There's been 5 or 6 big powerful strikers suggested on these pages the last few days that would fit the bill for us, here's hoping we get one.
CBP

Agree0 Disagree0

We could not afford his wages and cant see him coming to spl, sorry mate

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair the ref did blow before the player even headed t.he ball

Agree0 Disagree1

File under pish, sorry about that, was told a big white lie.
John88

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute bull mate. Why wld we spend 3m in loan fee and wages for no return? been down that route, usually every Jan when we sign a player on way down. Stevo Dundee

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who said the ref blew the whistle before Berwick scored. AYE YOUR RIGHT HE F*CKIN DID, BUT BECAUSE HE SEEN THE BALL ABOUT TO BE HEADED INTO THE NET. Honestly mate, wake up. Are you seriously telling me your accepting that? Thats what you seen from the incident? Sorry mate but your dreaming, or your a nugget from the Broomloan.

Henriksson
BolyAuxerre's 21-year-old centre-back Willy Boly has emerged as the latest target, with Nigerian international Efe Ambrose also in the frame.
Yoshida/Celtic manager Neil Lennon says he is keeping tabs on Japanese duo Maya Yoshida and Yuki Otsu.
Lakic/Celtic will this week pursue a deal to sign Croatian striker Srdjan Lakic on loan from German club Wolfsburg.
john88

Believable10 Unbelievable10

Here we go again with all these foreign players being linked with us. I would be very happy with Russell .

Agree1 Disagree0

The srdjan has an amazin scoring recorded when he was young not very good now he looks the type of player we need looks like he can do anything on the pitch :)

Agree0 Disagree0

A wee edit ed, rumoured that berbatov could be on his way instead ?
John88

Agree0 Disagree0

Johnny Russell's not what we need. Plus with the 2m utd would try get for him were better spending elsewhere such as defender and big striker. Russells no better than watt.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lakic is a very decent striker and more than good enough for SPL and would be extremely eager to impress on the European stage as he has a bit of a point to prove in Germany after hi big transfer didn't work out too well. The kind of player oneill used to get the best out of.
