What team would you play against Morton tomorrow night? I'd go: Zaluska; Lustig, Van Dijk, Ambrose, Mulgrew; Matthews, Brown, Rogic, Boerrigter; Stokes, Pukki

Subs: Forster, Biton, Samaras, Commons, Amido

Thoughts?

Celtic accounts main points:

I don't think they include revenue from selling Wanyama, Hooper or Kelvin Wilson.

Does any one think Lennon is tempted by the Sunderland job? I hope he doesn't go but he might not be happy by the lack of financial support after a great achievement and sales of players he and the team have evolved. Starting to feel like its just a matter of time thoughts?

The truth is any Celtic manager would be winning the SPL these years without sevco and getting into Europe. However, getting there, he produces some grand results. This, frustratingly for some, is sometimes overshadowed by some wrong team selections, playing guys out of position and ill judged substitutions at wrong times.
Who is to say another guy wouldn't do better? The club's excellent facilities, excellent board, huge excellent global fan base, etc, . All contributes to the success and arguably make it easier for the manager to succeed here.
For the record, I'm still shouting for Lenny, but the day will come I look beyond him. He knows that.

I work in a warehouse and I could manager celtic to the SPL championship no one want Lennon, no one rates SCOTTISH FOOTBALL, especially the EPL teams, but I do agree with the lack of funds giving to him though, but in saying that, he's brought in 8 players or so for 9m, where else can any team get away with bringing in 8 players for 8m? Out with the SPL! When rangers are back and hearts are back, and we get so decent backing from the SFA, winning the weakest SPL ever, isn't a big deal. BIG J

Agree0 Disagree0

@2, complete fing joke you are! Stay in the warehouse cause you don't know anything, ya the spl is not the best but teams have been better this year and more entertaining the previous years. Nl can't coach eh so beaten the best club in the world almost taking 4 points off them and advancing to the last 16 in cl us nothing eh. Nl shows how good he is on the big stage getting his players and tactics on point and winning in Europe, getting the most points ever by a Scottish club on the big stage! Surprised you can "manage" writting let alone a team lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't bite, it is clear @2 is a bitter zombie. He can't handle the fact that his club died and feels better venting his anger at our Lenny who he blames for the lot. Personally I couldn't think of any manager I would rather have at the helm and remember this man was our manager when your team died for good, lol . martyc1888

Are you the same big j that used to run the corner shop with his brother ahmed, round my way when I was only a khid, ., .kbarry

I love Lennon and think he is the best man for the job and the same people that say any one can do what he is doing are the same people if he did go south would slag him for grabbing the money Lennon has proved him self at every level in football but most of all he has proved him self as a loyal and Celtic fan so in my eyes that's good enough for me, but on a did move scenario he has been the main cog in the machine that has built celtic to the hights they are at and top mangers from all over would be falling over themselfs for a crack at running the Celtic he would leave, so all I can say is god bless Neil Lennon and may his good work continue hail hail, the English tim

I have never heard of the lad but when l googled him there was nothing to suggest he's anything special. I know he's quite young but he isn't doing anything too fancy where he is.

Pukki looks a decent player. Nice find from Lennon.

I hear Lennon is high up on Sunderland's list btw, thoughts?

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Give up CL football and chance of more trophies for a relegation battle with a club in turmoil?

Robert di Matteo is red hot favourite.

Don't know who will follow him after Christmas?

Sunny Jim. {Ed007's Note - RDM and Steve McLaren are the two names Sunderland would like to talk to and both of them are interested in the position. Gus Poyet is interested but he is seen as someone who can be fractious. Bob Bradley is another name that has been mentioned as a candidate.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I am not a huge fan of Neil Lennon but I agree that he would be mad to jump to Sunderland. Think it's just paper talk.

Iain

In the evening times Terry Butcher on the list, can't see Terry getting it or Neil taking it, they had a great manager in Oneil he would have turned that round if given all last season, they wouldn't be as bad if Martin was still there just now, Sunderland have had some risky appointments Keane, Di Canio, Niall Quinn got slaughtered for the way he ran club but obviously it still getting ran badly upstairs to replace a man like Oneil with Di Canio was a joke. Chris30

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Iain, but I've noticed you opposing NL a few times now, what exactly is it you're not a huge fan of?

My opinion is that on a results basis, he's done about as good as anybody could. As an individual, well I don't even think I need to go into the things that man has both given to and sacrificed for, his, and our, great football club.

Iain with the 2 i's maybe lenny ain't a fan of yours dude, ., .kbarry
