Were suppose to be signing a good number 1 goalkeeper so why are we signing somone that's 3rd choice at a team that's only just been promoted to epl and hes been on loan to stockport and bristol rovers so much for aiming a bit higher lot of bull we should of got given.
word is that bojan krkic is coming to celtic on 12month loan deal because of the good relation we have with barcelona and with them signing villa was going to be hard so expect it to break on deadline day.

Celtic line up loan deal for Newcastle's Fraser Forster


Forster helped Norwich win promotion to The Championship

Celtic hope to complete a season-long loan deal for Newcastle goalkeeper Fraser Forster on Monday.
The 22-year-old, who stands at 6ft, 7in, impressed while on loan at Norwich last season and has also been farmed out to Bristol Rovers and Stockport.
"He's a big boy, he's come highly recommended, " revealed Celtic manager Neil Lennon.
"His age is the only thing going against him because otherwise he's all the qualities you look for."
Norwich had hoped to bring Forster back to Carrow Road but were priced out of a move for the Englishman.
Burnley also made a move for the keeper in July but at that time Newcastle were reluctant to let him leave.
Forster, who will be in Glasgow for a medical on Monday, has yet to play a first team game for Newcastle and is third in the pecking order at St James' Park behind Steve Harper and Tim Krul.
Lukasz Zaluska has been Lennon's first choice keeper this season, with Dominic Cervi providing back-up from the bench.

Haha my big cousin Alan is a Celtic fan, our whole family are but i don't think he is coming to the hoops anytime soon. More realistic is a double bid for Hearts full backs Lee Wallace and Craig Thompson, we desperatly need Lee and Craig looks an excellent prospect. Lee is a rumour that is going around but Craig is my own opinion and if i was in Neil's shoes i would go in for these two great players especially Lee who is THE outstanding lb in the SPL.

It is confirmed that tge newcastle keeper forest was at parkhead today watchin game v st mirren. All talks went well and he will sign by Tuesday. So all this rubbish about given, depor gk is celtic fans blinded by a smokescreen to think that celtic are still transfer giants, we are not we are bargain basement like rangers who have been for a while.

Newcastle United's Fraser Forster to sign tommorow, was spotted at the match, at 6feet7 not hard to spot lol, lennon also said he will sign a keeper tommorow and asked if was given, he said no, expect the deal to be loan as nufc wouldn't sell him as hold him in high regard and was one of norwich city's best players, having the most clean sheets, alan thompson knows him well from coaching staff at nufc.

Neil has just been on Radio Scotland and stated that he hopes to have a new goalie in the next few days, he said it won't be Shay Given, looks as though Keiren Westwood from Coventry will be coming. Celtic had put a bid of £500k in a few weeks ago (aka £3.50 & a haggis) looks as though we've added the extra 2 bottles of Irn Bru that Neil mentioned last week.

Exoect Celtic to pay about £1.5M for the highly rated Irish goalie.

Neil lennon has said live on radio sportsound, expect a goalkeeper to be signing tommorow and coupe of other close to striking a deal which should be signed by end of the week. hmmmm wonder who the keeper is?. could if be given exciting stuff at parkhead today, great football if that don't bring back bums on seats i don't know what willl. after all not seen hoops play like that for few years, even under strachan, we didn't play as exciting football as that mon the lennon. lennon continues this way he going to become a legend

Realisticly we need a striker, a proven goal scorer but what team doesn't?
Also a goalkeeper as we don't even have decent cover in this position.

Hopefully Neil Lennon will pull a cracker out his sleeve if not then lets knuckle down and get behind what we have!

Celtic are in talks with spurs over 2 of there players thought to be keane and wait for it. . HUTTON! Only a cash offer is welcomed for keane although a loan deal for Hutton will be made! Hutton thought to be open to the move as he was a celtic fan as a kid! The wages for keane are to be capped(around 40 grand)with a DVD and a loylaty game arranged with keane pocketing the revenue to make up his wages!
Given deal still very much a possibility with the player still thinking abt the move!
Loovens will be aloud to leave on ether on loan or permanent if another 2 cb are brought in!
