Need to think outside the box if we are to do anything in Europe the wee Spanish playmaker could be exactly what we need but doubt we’d be able to get him anyway tbh major injury apart we’d have no hope in hell of getting him.

If players are currently with richer clubs on funny money, then rule them out immediately. It’s not going to happen.
The only exception to that would be older players at the end of their careers who might fancy it on what we could afford. Younger players aren’t going to leave for much less.
We need to find good players not already on huge amounts but capable of doing so in a year or two by playing well in the CL now.
Established highly paid players are not in our focus.
