Heard a few rumours last night that Henrik Larsson is apparently going to be offered a coaching role within the club. Ed have you heard anything about this? it would be outstanding business from Lenny and the club to get Henrik on board. If I remember correctly did Henrik not train with Lennys side once and we went on to win 9-0 that weekend with Hooper and Stokes both bagging hatricks aganist Aberdeen {Ed007's Note - Good players don't always make good coaches or managers.}

He also recommended bangura and didn't exactly set the heather alight in managing job in Sweden. As ed says, just because he's a playing legend.

I agree with Ed007 that not all players/legends make it after they hang up their boots but I woudl LOVE to see Henrik back at CP in some role. I genuinely think the fans woudl take to him in whatever role he was doing and IF (just an "if", don't sweat; not joining the Lennon to EPL bandwagon) he was given say the managers job, he woudl have really 2 years to cut his teeth at CFC as no old firm (may the name RIP) pressure and let's not forget Lennon had no experience but just went for it. Larsson has respect on his side and (laugh all you want) that's almost worldwide. SB

I also agree that just cause your a great player doesn't make you a good coach.
however I think Larsson would make a great strikers coach if anyone could teach you the best runs to make and how to finish its him! Also I've never seen anyone leap and head a ball like him he could certainly teach a few players a few things

Henke knows he blew it when he stayed at Helsingborgs. He should have come back when asked instead of being a huge fish in a small pool which actually was not even appreciated in Sweden. Sometimes a spell of adversity is good for a man and Henke has had his troubles these past years. Time perhaps to bring The King of Kings home if only in a joint coaching capacity. Sopotcelt.

Even at his age and a few years out he would still outscore every one of our strikers lol. get him signed up. he's still as fit as a fiddle
