No my god, I've just seen the celtic team and I think we are going to get a little lesson in football tonight. Izzy and Ambrose are just waiting to gift chances and this team will punish us.

Brown has let us down there. It is a sending off IMO.

Ed I have posted previously again tonight I am not a celtic fan I am going to honestly reflect on the game as I saw it. first of all scott brown as captain has let your side down okay it was not the worst kick out in the world but the fact is he did kick out and that was stupid of him to do that the ref was always going to send him off for it and the irony of it was it was a pretty good foul to give away as neymar was gone but there was no need to aim a kick. celtic again played well but it goes to show if you don't take the chances you get in europe you get punished and as happened in milan it happened again tonight barca pounced.

for me barca were poor and it shows that they badly missed messi. neymar is an average player he has the pace and some trickery but no end product and is not even half the player messi is.

again celtic have missed a real opportunity to grab a result tonight and it was not helped by the stupidity of scott brown.

one final point georgios samaras how many times did he have good posession and the chance to create something but instead just ran into trouble frustrating night watching him if your a celtic fan.

i hope you accept this as an honest reflection of the game and hope you would agree with me on the main points. {Ed007's Note - Any team would miss Messi but as usual when CFC put in a good performance it is the other team that are poor and not CFC that played well, you came out with the same p1sh after the Milan game.
To say Neymar is average is just ridiculous, you obviously don't watch that much football if you think that. Samaras ran with the ball when there wasn't a pass on, that's hardly his fault. I would rather see him trying to run with the ball than just give it away.
Scott Brown is just Scott Brown, every team needs a player like him. He is captain because our manager knows through experience what kind of man it takes to captain one of the biggest clubs in football. So all in all I have to say I don't agree with you, but those are your opinions and you are entitled to them, although you could at least have the common courtesy to leave a name in future. We are trying to cut down on the anonymous posts.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Big Sammy was outstanding tonight and if Barca looked 'poor' (jings) it was Celtic that made them looked poor ;-)

I would love a poor midfield like Barca's, Iniesta and Xavi. Neymar just sums up modern football, you would not get Jinky rolling about that.

Hopefully Joe, Joe super Joe is back soon. Disappointed in Scott Brown tonight but not going to dwell on it

Agree3 Disagree0

Passing and taking chances let us down again and that is all really. How many teams would take encouragement from this result. Brown was a bit stupid. It's not a red for me but you always give the ref half a reason with 'aggressive' behaviour like that. You might as well make sure he goes off on a stretcher though if you're going to get sent off. I'm certainly not jumping on his back. He's a great captain and anybody who plays football to any level knows how great it is to have a man like him on your side. To the 'barca were poor' guy, we made them poor. Keep our heads up and same again next time out.

If u are not a fan then why the hell are u on this site? Why would any one care for your opinion when u have no allegiance to our club? Makes absolutely no sense

Agree0 Disagree0

Hendy,

Absolutely spot on. Sheer and utter stupidity sums up browns actions. A clever foul on neymar in the first place, taking a possible yellow for the team, to be followed up by a needless kick out. Lennon was probably right to publicly back him but I hope he left him in no doubt about his feelings on the matter.

Now we are without a driving force off a captain for the next two champions league games, which will make of break our campaign - great thinking broony!

Some great saves from Forster, apart from an easy corner he made a right hash off. Will have done himself no harm there.

Is it worth a poll to discuss who broony's replacement as captain should be in these games. Not Sammy for me, although I thought he played really well tonight. Wish he would look for a pass as opposed to running through impossible walls at times.

Mulgrew or Ledley for me as capitano.

Disappointed in Green Brigade if from what I hear is true and they will NOT be participating in tonights display. Somewhere along the line we have forgotten that this is a football club and we support and love the club. If you have problems with the Police surely there must be good reason for this?
Green Brigade do wonders for CP (especially on european nights) really hope this is resolved soon as their contribution will be greatly missed.

We have a HUGE game tonight. Time to show the rest of the WORLD we are leaders in supporting our team.

Win, Lose or draw.

Remember last season's Barca display was for 125 years. I think the club paid for all the boards to hold up etc. Not the GB.

Agree0 Disagree0

These green brigade characters its time for them to go to f*** bring more hassle than its worth love watching celtic but these persons are starting to ruin football for everyone else we sing songs to encourage the team and sing about our old players but these idiots with their bile are not real celtic fans in my opinion ban them

Agree0 Disagree2

We need ALL the support we can get to get behind the team. I think we are not as good as last season on the pitch and this will be a really difficult night so if ever we needed that world famous 12th man it's tonight.

JJ

Calm down Stephb let's wait and see I would think its bad pr if they did.

Fans will sing and support the club without them.

Agree0 Disagree2

At the start of the season the club decided they wanted to do their own displays in this seasons Champions League. An agreement was reached with the Green Brigade to miss out the north curve as the group already had their own plans for all three games. Last years 125th anniversary stadium display v Barça wasn't in any way, shape or form club funded. The GB raised £10k of their own money then set it up themselves the Saturday, Sunday, Monday night without any help whitsoever from the club. Get your facts straight before skating other fans op!

Been hearing the GB have taking the huff and will not be participating in the display of This is Paradise tonight . Pity . We are all Celtic family . Get a grip guys if this is true . DH

Believable10 Unbelievable3

Whats the issue that's causing the problem?

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe they're not happy with the policing in there end, might be wrong just what I heard.

I know they bring atmosphere to games, but sometimes they seem to think that they are bigger than the club and should be allowed to do what they want, listen I have followed my club through good times and very bad times and will continue to do so through thick and thin till the day I die, Celtic are in my blood, we are playing Barcelona in the Champions League ffs, we need the fans to get behind the team and roar us on tae a memorable victory, we can do without petulant kids who throw their rattles oot the pram when they're not getting their own way, we all know what is acceptable and what is not! Come on tae f@@k Bhoys time tae man up and start putting the team first, hail hail .
Drewzybhoy .

Agree0 Disagree1

They are clearly not part of the celtic family then. Let them go in a huff, like spoilt kids cause they aren't getting their own way. I like what they do, but not what they bring to CFC's front door!

Agree0 Disagree1

Agree with drewzy. Green brigade don't think your bigger than Celtic. Acting like children. Get on with it. I've heard some vile pour out the mouths of such loyal supporters in that section yet they say they are not sectarian or their religion is Celtic etc. I'm in a Celtic supporters section of the crowd called the Celtic support. We got on fine as a unit before the green brigade came along. We can all make as much noise as u. One Celtic one support. One Neil Lennon
