Ed read that hooper are in talks with juve is this true? Hope so cause I think we would get better money from them then any epl club and at least we he won't be able to play against us. If he does go do you think Celtic are still interested in rhodes? Thought I read he is not happy or not fitting well, for I haven't heard anything about him since his move.
Sry to start so early with the question Ed but any real rumours or things that look promising for us? Hope the transfer window ppl don't give you too many headaches. {Ed007's Note - Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have been busy elsewhere. The only news I have is that a pre-contract offer to a Notts Forest player (Lewis McGugan?) has been put on hold on the request of someone on the player's end of the deal.}

Is mgugan not going to leeds? we where linked with him at the time we got wilson , from what ive read he has talent but is inconsistant and very lazy, , , deep river bhoy

I would love us to get McGuagen, think he is a really promising player. A good goal scoring midfielder

Hooper is interesting Norwich City. {Ed007's Note - Norwich can't afford the fee, Hughton was up to watch Mulgrew today.}

Rabiu Ibrahim going on loan to Kilmarnock for the rest of the season. Good to see him get some first-team football and adapt to the SPL a bit more.

Ibrahim has signed a 2 year permanent deal with killie. Pitty would like to have seen what he could have done in the hoops.

Haven't heard much our end, but what's the situation with Gary Hooper to saints? If there is one of course? Thanks

All do respect to southampton mate but it would be a huge step backwards if hooper ended up down there. Being realistic saints will more than likely get relegated and hooper has surely higher ambition than that. he will prob go to liverpool newcastle or a team like that, not one that is going to be battling relegation

Gary Hooper not going anywhere. Neil Lennon does not have to sell and won't sell his key players.

Last year was an appealing move but this year Gary Hooper wouldnt join Saints...The case of the matter is Southampton are not interested in him anyway now..It is just sloppy press speculation...Juventus are not interested neither are Qpr. It is believed 2 mid premiership teams are interested.If Gary is offered a contract in line with Ledley and Brown he has told close friends he'd stay.If not he will leave for 2-3 million in the summer. zcv

Newcastle or soton..hmm thats a hard one. i have no interest in english football but i do know which is the more appealing club...Newcastle by far. fair enough Newcastle have been poor compared to last season but they are more than capable of going on a good run, soton arnt capable
ok then "no name" ok

Not capable of going on a good run?!?! We've lost 2 of our last 10 and tbf we are still adapting to the premier league!

Newcastle look likely to lose Demba Ba so they may be more determined to try and sing Hooper and hopefully we push for top dollar.

Yes adapting... however, you are still one place outside the bottom three and you might have only lost 2 but how many have you drawn. Southampton are too much of a gamble right now... especially with your defence. Newcastle would be a better prospect, better team and better history. But neither of you can offer a last 16 game again Juventus. Hooper will stay until the summer and move to Liverpool or another mid-table EPL team.

Arsenal to bid £12million for Victor Wanyama. QPR and Southampton to bid £8million for Gary Hooper

Very good why would hooper choose any of they two poor epl sides ?

I think there is some truth in this story .. wanyama very heavily linked to arsenal and if they offered 12 million pounds i would take it right now ! an awesome piece of business by the club the lads head has been turned from the off no matter how good he is he wanted the move to qpr in the summer QPR !! same with hooper if he wants an england call up he aint gonna get it from the teams that want him down south.... if man utd man city chelsea arsenal or spurs come in for him and the money is right then let him go !
Chalky bhoy!

With our policy of buy low sell high we must stay firm On our price so that in the future with players we don't cap ourselves out of good money. Hooper should go for at least 12mill and wanyama 20mill if we are to change the mind set of the spl 10 mill cap for a player.

Make it 20 for vic and 12 for hooper then we can let them go

John, do you honestly think Guidetti will get a game ahead of Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli! I don't see it somehow!

Wanyama is worth way more than 12 million. He is without a doubt one of the best young defensive midfielders around, even praised by Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. Anyone who thinks otherwise obviously knows more than these 3 about football.
