Reading Celtics agreed an undisclosed fee for Duffy and apparently we are interested in Wes Hoolahan. Ed surely this is rubbish?

Derry have accepted offer for Duffy, Personal terms to be finished tomorrow.I think Wes H, could be a short term loan, with 75% of his wages covered, he his a great playmaker when fit.
Do not be surprised if James McClean is in Glasgow tomorrow

I hope going for Duffy doesn't hamper deals for GMS and Armstrong. You know what we are like and getting Duffy in will probably take us all day.

Is Duffy any better than what we have now? or is he coming here to be developed? not seen him play just know we have had him twice to look at and scored 2 goals

An exciting player in a very poor derry team. I feel he's capable of making the step up and glad we have signed him. Ed you any idea of the fee? Think reports were saying 300k was wanted but I heard 100k plus possible ad ons but that's just rumours

Thought that would be rubbish couldn't see us paying for Hoolahan when we are meant to be going in for GMS and Armstrong. Any more news on the grapevine ED? Do you think it will be Duffy and the 2 Utd boys or shall we expect a surprise, Been reading a lot of rumours that 750k would be enough for Bakkali?

{Ed007's Note - CFC were yesterday turned down in an attempt to sign Zakaria Bakkali from PSV. The Dutch side aren't keen to sell in this window and the player doesn't fancy the move. PSV are hoping he will sign a new deal with them which will mean they receive a transfer fee in the summer but they might struggle to even keep him as the clock ticks down tomorrow as there is interest from England and Spain. If Lawwell could get a deal done it would be a fantastic signing, the lad is a smashing player.

Thanks for that Ed he looks a quality player even at that age. If we could pull that off surely that would put bums on seats, He looks potentially world class probably as good if not better than Ronaldo at that age
