Adam le Fondre in talks after £750,000 bid was accepted, and an enquiry put in for a target man so if Le fondre doesn't work out then he'll be back up

Le Fondre could do a job for us. We need a penalty box poacher. Scepovic disappointing again today.

Le Fondre would be a decent signing imo, he's 28 so in his prime so could be a shrewd piece of business for that money. He needs a chance up front again no eye dear why he hasn't been played there for Cardiff. Done well in the EPL couple years ago scoring 12 goals including two goals against Chelsea, goal against Man Utd, Arsenal and Everton. Scored a few against the middle to lower teams as well, proven himself in the championship as well which is a much tougher league than our own imo. Even if Ronny didn't see him as a striker he strikes me as a player who could maybe be useful out wide in the position Armstrong currently occupies whom I don't think brings anything to the team out there.

Anyway while discussing strikers, I see Tony Watt netted a double against Lennys' Bolton side the other day for Charlton. A player we're going to regret letting go imo, could have been the answer to our striking problem currently, madness to let him go. Big, tall, strong, pace, skill, energetic(on the pitch), clinical got it all tbh and would suit the lone role perfectly, a menace and constant nuisance for defenders. Think he'll do well this year for Charlton and can see an EPL team taking him soon.

Anyway on Le Fondre can't see it happening but would welcome him.

Celticforever you posted a lot about T watts attributes , however you foorgot to mention he has fallen out with every manager he has played under and is in no way a team person . No manager would move on a goal scorer bless he is an out of control trouble maker in training .

We don't need a striker we need a wide man to get the ball to the strikers we have! there's chat about Janko not playing due to inexperience. Which I understand at the back, but I've watched the game midweek and today and imo what would be wrong with taking Forrest out the team altogether and letting Janko get his experience at Rw? Like Kayal I've givin Forrest much more time than he's worth. Its only this season that I've realised that the guys on here defending their opinion last season are right. The boy is mince

It will be michael Kramer from den haag although feyenoord are keen too and he is a feyenoord fan.

He's said if he had to choose between us and feynord he'd choose them! That would be another sceppovic mistake signing a player that didn't want to come!

Don't get too wound up with the names that are floating around in the Scottish Media .
Very likely Celtic have no interest in them , but could have an interest on others .
