As January is almost upon us and no doubt you'll be inundated with Transfer Rumours.
Have you heard that we're interested in Louis Moult?
I've now had a few people including a Motherwell fan telling me that discussions have taken place with Moult's Agent and Celtic. Just thought I'd ask as it may be Barry White.
Keep up the good work Ed as it's much appreciated.

{Ed007's Note - A few people have asked me about this today but it sounds like something off of Tw@tter to me. I mean seriously, why on Earth would we want to sign Louis Moult? He would be lucky to get in any Celtic matchday squad and would only hinder the progress of youngsters like Aitchison.}

Think Moult would be a right good signing. Clear goal scorer and with big Moussa likely to be off next season I reckon it would be a good move. No fee involved either.

I don't know why anyone says moult he's not good enough would have Hayes ahead of him and look where hates is at game time wise.

I have a feeling, it might just be a hunch, that we'll be able to replace Dembele with somebody a wee bit better than Moult and we won't have to worry too much about the fee either.

Moult is worth a shout for 3rd choice striker if the moneys right but there's no way he's a replacement for dembele.

If Hayes gets s game, Houlton has to be a better option. We paid £1.3m for Hayes.

Let that sink in.

£1.3m Hayes

£0.00 for Moult.

Hard one that.

Plus it stops the gets getting him.

Few signings I've heard to expect to happen in January.

Filip Benkovic - £7m
Miquel Nelom - Feyenoord - Pre-Contract
John McGinn - Hibs - £4.5m + Liam Henderson
Lewis Morgan - St Mirren - Pre- Contract
Louis Moult - Motherwell - Pre-Contract

Minimum fees may be offered for the pre-contract guys before the end if the window same as GMS situation.

Dont see celtic spending that kind of money although I urge you Mr lawwell prove me wrong, one thing I would say about you valuation of benkovic is less than half the 20million being banded about.

Never seen Benkovic but I doubt we've got a chance with some of the clubs looking at him. The rest can stay where they are.

More outs than in this Jan some youth bhoys out on Loan Ajer Henderson needs to move on he's no getting games he's a good player who now needs to be a regular to flourish. Kouassi now needs to show his worth as well. Benyu out on Loan a CH in is a must for me anything else can wait till next year. Let's face it we only brought one in last Jan window that's what I think will happen again. As I look at it here's two teams we can put out which could still win SPFL . Gordon Lustig Boyata jozo Tierney Brown Armstrong Roberts Rogic Sinclair Dembele. De Vries Ralston Bitton Erick Hayes Ntcham kouassi Forrest MC Gregor Millar Griff. We don't need to stock pile players we may need one or two quality players to walk into first team to help in CL what do u think ED.
