Celtic have made an approach for Levski Sofia striker Garra Dembele according to the player’s agent.
The 24-year old has drawn interest from a number of British clubs following his impressive early-season form with Bulgarian side Levski, where he has scored 16 goals in 12 games.
He has said he is very interested.

robbie keane- hasnt played 90 mins in a first team since he left celtic, well worth 65 000 NOT!
conner sammon- 1 good season in his full footballen career, o a must for celtic again NOT!
eremenko- a good player in a bad killie side this is a fact folks.
shay given- an old man no where near as good as hart or boruc fact.
richard dunne- decent centre back but should be wear en a balaclaver instead of fitba boots as he s robben wages from villa skill doesn't match weekly wage.

Meanwhile, the agent for French striker Garra Dembele has told BBC Scotland that Celtic have tabled an offer for the 24-year-old.
Dembele has scored 27 goals for Bulgarian side Levski Sofia this season.
"I can confirm Celtic made an offer for Garra and he is very interested, " said Christian Emille.
"There has also been interest from top clubs in England too. At the moment Levski are weighing up all options but the player himself would prefer a move to a club in the UK."

"Yes, it is true, Celtic is one of the clubs to have tabled an offer for him, " Dembele's representative, Christian Emile of 121 Sports Marketing and Consulting Ltd, told
"Celtic is a top club and of course it is an appealing destination for Garra. However, as I said before we are in discussions with other interested teams in England and there is no hurry to make a decision.

Im a mate of charlie austins he played with me at poole town before going to swindon i spoke to him last night and he said the tic Have made an inquiry but he wants to stay in england in the championship burnley, hull and one of the welsh teams have made solid bids he WOULD move to celtic if the money was right and so he could play in europe BUT what you need to remember is that 18 months ago he was building walls playing footy at places like havant and in a sunday league also drinking up the red lion in hamworthy, poole so even though hes a mate is he really what we want at celtic? Celtic midfielder Olivier Kapo is quitting Parkhead after less than three months at the club. The Frenchman, speaking on his official blog, has claimed Celtic have made unacceptable changes to the contract offer that was discussed when he signed for the Hoops in November.
The player announced his intentions on his official blog but as yet there has been no confirmation from Celtic. Kapo said that his decision had not been taken lightly but that decisions taken at a high level at Parkhead had forced him to leave.
In the open letter on the blog, the player says he did not require payment for his initial "probationary" period as he was keen to prove his worth and earn the one and a half year deal that would take effect in January.
Kapo now claims that senior management at Celtic changed the terms of that contract, informing him that they were only prepared to offer one third of the wages he says had been agreed. The winger says that Neil Lennon and his coaching staff wanted to keep him at the club but that he was leaving as a result of the financial changes.
“I wanted to inform you of my decision to leave Celtic Football Club, ” Kapo announced on his website.
“This is not an impulse or a whim. That is why today I feel the need to explain why, in the interests of transparency.
"On November 4, 2010, I signed a contract which binded me to the club until 2012 with a probationary period of three months. During that time, I required no pay. My sole concern was to recover the pleasure of playing.
"A moral committment was then made by the football management of the club that my trial period would be converted, as expected, into a contract of 18 months. I began looking for an apartment for my family and a school for my children. My future was with Celtic.
"On January 11, there was a twist. The executive management called me and said my contract would be changed. My salary would be divided by three and would now expire on June 30, 2011.
"The position of the club was a 'lack of experience', because four games had been postponed due to the weather and I had been out injured with a thigh injury in late December, from which I have now fully recovered.
"I still do not understand this sudden change of situation. I feel a deep injustice, even though the coaching staff wanted me to stay.
"Despite the insistence of Neil Lennon, I did not want to stay longer in a situation where a young coach, who was an experienced player, is not able to impose his choices on the financial management.
"I wish to thank all staff at the club, the fans and my team-mates for their warm welcome support during my three months. I extend my best wishes for their success."
The left winger was a free agent when he agreed to join Celtic late last year, having been released by Wigan Athletic in the summer. The deal that Kapo signed was unusual, running until June 2012 but with a "get-out clause" that allowed Celtic to terminate the contract in January 2011 if they were not satisfied with Kapo's fitness and contribution.
Kapo made two appearances during his time in the SPL, playing 13 minutes against St Johnstone and 38 minutes against Motherwell in December.
