Today highlighted the need for a big target man striker and possibly a penalty box striker to put pressure on hoops and stokes because when these two arent scoring we 90% of the time aren't

Believable11 Unbelievable5

Never ever come on this page............

{Ed007's Note - Thank God you don't come on here. I will let you off this time as you say it is your first post but if you ever try to post childish digs like that again I will block you. Grow up and you are more than welcome.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Awe come off it.big target man.so we start pumpin high baws up front.what happened to playin football the celtic way.its the managers fault we got beat the day anyhow.we should have had big sammy on fae the start

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed pple not allowed to say anything. you get it on the gers page. celic fans with there bigoted views.just having a laugh but if you are that dyed in the wool. a wont post stuff like that since it upsets you. need your bum changed? graeme {Ed007's Note - Obviously you have a different sense of humour than the majority of civilised adults. I see you grew a pair and put a name to this post. I don't argue with children or women, you have been warned, so the choice is yours.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Know where your coming from m8, but unfortunately the days of Sutton, King Henrik & Hartson are but a distant memory. Really do think the secret for us is going to be signing young talent from England, nurturing them, then selling them to premiership teams at inflated prices. Never know, might get another deal like the one for McGeady, for say Forrest. Wouldn't be surprised if Hooper is allowed to leave for the rite offer in the summer & can maybe re-invest in a more physical type striker. Anyone agree? Davo 88

we can play "the celtic way" as much as you want but if were not scoring were not you know winning bringing in a target man will give us a plan b in attack

R.I.P Mr Kelly, your son did you proud today!

Believable14 Unbelievable3

Tragic news, what should have been the best day of Liam's life is now the worst. God bless Liam and his family. RIP Mr Kelly

Agree0 Disagree0

Gutted to hear about the lad Kelly's dad....He would of passed away a proud father.......Stevie

Agree0 Disagree0

Terrible news. Really feel for Liam and his family. What should have been the best day of his life has turned so cruely.
It will be little consilation he passed away as a proud dad watching his son winning the league cup. RIP Jack

Agree0 Disagree0

This puts todays game in perspective

Agree0 Disagree0

RIP mr Kelly. As said previously, he would've passed a very proud man. Although sad about the result for Celtic, I am very happy this man got to see his son lift the cup. I wouldn't wish the game's result any other way. My thoughts are with the family

Agree0 Disagree0

Def puts things into perspective. Only just found out when logging on that Liam Kelly's father had collapsed and from here that he has passed away. Result doesn't mean a thing now. Sympathies to his family and happy that he at least got to see his son become in effect a Killie legend. God Bless.

lennon appears to have a serious blind spot where forrest is concerne
d. poor display from most of the tea m. we need to strengthen strikers
in summer. lennon is still a young man learning the job and will make
mistakes .still a good season on the cards

Believable14 Unbelievable4

Lennon hasnt a clue, again in a match of significance he has blew it. I am fed up with him and wouldnt miss him, how many finals is that hes lost

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2012 20:51:04
was as the game today but not saw it on tv yet, however i wouldnt rate anyone in that celtic team anymore than a 5.had there chances & couldnt make more of them fair play to killie keeper made some good saves, hooper just didnt look intrested at all as were a few others.whats the crack with stokes ? looked like a stone waller was right in front of me but then again the ref did make some daft mistakes.

we might be the joke for the next few days aye & in a way rightly so as we were pish, but just remember you black little hats for sunday. need motherwell to drop points on saturday & us to win on sunday to make up for todays mess.

lenny

Believable6 Unbelievable4

What little black hats, whats everyone doing for sunday I work away alot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stonewaller? It was a blatant dive. He wasnt touched

Agree0 Disagree0

By the looks of it most celtic fans will have little bowl shape hats going to govan on sunday, ( the tax mans little hat)

why would he dive when hes 1 on 1 with the goalie ?

lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunno why we bother m8, will be there as usual, black hat and all, but don't be surprised if the same big game losers let us down against a team of kids on Sunday. I'm seriously considering giving up my season ticket for next season, really can't take any more of these big game flops from this current squad. Simply being Celtic minded ain't going to cut it forever. Neil has got some serious questions to ask these players on Tuesday. Also needs to stop blaming others, this is the squad HE has assembled & it has got a bad habbit of failing at the final hurdle. Needs to start shouldering the blame! Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Bowler hats remember to take your black umbrella and emmmm whats the other thing that goes way it?....oh aye a collarette

Agree0 Disagree0

When will celtic ever learn, thought all they had to do today, was turn up.Well once again lost.N.L.has a lot to answer to the fans, they just cannot get it together when comes to finals.Silver ware is paramount. This is typical not crossing the line when under presure.

Any1 that thinks I wud dive wen I'm 1 on 1 wit d keeper needs their head checked. So disappointed but we still have so much to play for. As tweeted by Antony Stokes. Bigirishmac

Believable15 Unbelievable20

What Green tinted glasses you Bhoys wear A pure dive just like the wan against us right back to ma dinner now am huvin a nice wee Kille pie mmmmmmmmmm tasy. Leetheger.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a good one Lee. We're not too chuffed tonight so we'll just have to settle for being champions, doing the double, watching Rangers getting pum**d every week and then having to sell every sorry asset you have... As the good old song goes .......hey u Come on over to Ibrokes, we're having a party !!!! So aye all the best mate enjoy your pie !!! ha

Agree0 Disagree0

Ii just don't get it guys? All this i'm not bothered nonsense, well done Killie & all the rest of the nonsense. No wonder the players let us down every time, every blooming well time. If the players see this couldn't care less attitude, is it any wonder they sadly lack the killer mentality in the big games. I for one am absolutely gutted & just wish fellow supporters would share my passion in the club. We need to let these players know how badly they have let us down today. Everything was perfect today, St Patrick's day....Cup Final....Part 1 of Treble....Beautiful summers day....Only for the same player's to let us down again, just like Inverness last season. And you know what, as long as we make excuses for them, they will let us down time & time again. Remember fellow Bhoy's, this was not Man Utd or even Sheffield Utd, this was a team we thought we could take a good few goals off. I put a fiver on 3-0. I am very angry indeed, and while i don't hold Neil totally responsible, i admit i am starting to have my doubts. This is the second time i have had to hang my head in shame at work after losing a Cup Final to a team we should wiping the floor with. So guys, wisen up & stop giving these players hero status, when they most certainly do not deserve it. Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

The team did not let me down at all, they got to the final, they overcame a 15 point gap and they are on track for the double. Celtic have done enough for me already! Gutted we did not win, but i would take todays loss over anything else !

Agree0 Disagree0

To the 4th post, you say "Gutted we did not win, but i would take todays loss over anything else" WHAAAT are you on about? You cannot be serious man, as i said earlier, it's no wonder we have a team of players who don't know how to win, when we have supporters who think it is acceptable to THROW away a TREBLE, especially when Rangers were unable to stop us in any of the competitions. Wake up & smell the coffee man, this is a disaster....total disaster. Supporters like you do not help by papering over the cracks. Today's result was not acceptable! Fact Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Davo 88 your over reacting using words like total disaster, and todays result was not acceptable , your sounding like one of the darkside thinking we've some god given right to win every game we play. Those things happen in football, next week we"ll probably be celebrating a title at ibrokes and by end of season a double. Would of taken that at the beginning of november....Stevie

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course we would have Stevie. IN NOVEMBER, but surely you must agree today was nothing short of failure. If you knew in November that we would play Killie in the first final of the season in March, would you find it acceptable that we lost, not even managing a goal? Hope not. As for accusing me of thinking i have some God given rite to win every game, you go on to say we will probably be celebrating a double at the end of the season? Pot calling the kettle black. So do we just forget todays farce & go into Europe with the same squad of under achievers next season? Get a grip man. Football is about results.

Agree0 Disagree0

When will u lot get it? yous believe your own hype but yous really just aint that good- simples. fact is you've been handed a title and blown every other competition you've been in. Rangers have been on there knees for about 4,5 years now and thats use just getting your hands on title after admin and whytes antics.enjoy it while u can as it will not be a treble or even a double but a hollow title.

Agree0 Disagree0

During the game i was certain it was a stone waller. After watching it on tv (repeatedly) there is contact but very minimal contact. Stokes didn't dive, but the theatrical fall makes it look like a dive and thats why he got booked and we didn't get the penalty. A half decent striker would still have finished it.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2012 18:33:46
Well done to kille. They stuck to there game plan throught the whole game. Their keeper was outstanding. If that was in the primership they'd be saying he was worldclass. Definite penalty at the end. This is the same ref that give ranger one last year with his back to play. He's a joke but we had enough chances in the 90 to do it. Yeah can't win them all. Who needs rangers?? When theres other teams that can give us a game. Still hung over from yesterday lol. Bigirishmac

Believable12 Unbelievable4

You are One of only two people after seeing a replay from different angles that is saying definite penalty. Refs decision is final. No bias towards any team. Just poor refs in this country

Agree0 Disagree0

If you have facebook you will have seen a massive surge in "killie" fans over the last couple of hours! kind of blows away the argument that the spl needs rangers, look at the amount of people who were supporting their local team,i'm from ayrshire, but the rangers fans from other parts in scotland would do the same when rangers die

Agree0 Disagree0

Great day to be a Killie fan BIM. I haven't seen the penalty claim on the telly so not sure.

Some of our players just looked not interested today...ach well. At least we have the league, Scottish Cup & European football next season to look forward to. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

And the same ref that didnt give rangers there goal at 0-0 and ALSO didnt give hearts theyr goal at 0-0, so grow up, killie were the better team

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want to grow up and really need to ask..it is 'there' or 'theyr' ? I think its neither ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a born and breed hoops man , enough crap we should be blowing killie away and further more I wouldn't let Kelvin Wilson wash the strips total donkey, we should have played the same team as last week,NL changes the team too much and I hope this is the last time he plays ledley out wide it's not fair to the guy.

Agree0 Disagree0

To the Bhoy who posted the 6th reply, totally agree, i say totally agree. And to Mrs E, maybe if you watched the game as closely as you look out for spelling mistakes, you would have noticed that the team are simply not winners. And yes, we do have the League, but please don't mention the Scottish Cup & European football with an arrogance which suggests we have any given rite to success in either competition, when both player's & manager are failing the great Celtic support TIME & TIME AGAIN IN THE BIG GAMES. And another thing MRS E, do you remember why we made the group stages in Europa League this year? Apologies to Mrs E for the Rant, but we need to show the players & coaching staff that merely being Celtic minde will only cut it for so long. Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is saying we have the league, Scottish Cup & getting some European football action next season arrogant ? We've won the points we have in the league fairly.

If you mean what you say Davo88..then why are you apologising ? Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Put simply, i went a bit over the top in my reply. Don't like coming over as being disrespectful, especially to a lady. But again, i cannot stress strongly enough that as long as supporters such as yourself let the team & manager off so lightly after resulst such as todays, i believe the team will find it acceptable to be nearly men. We must demand more, nobody remembers who came 2nd. I will always remember Killie came to Glasgow & won the cup on St Patricks day. And for the Scottish Cup & Europe, is merely competing good enough for our great Club? The manager needs to have a good look at some of his squad, as they are nearly men. Do you not agree Mrs E? Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Canny beleive everybody oan here praisin killie.for gods sake big jock will be turning in his grave.dave 88 rite!when it comes to big games we buckle.lennys gettin oot of jail coz we were handed the league wae the hectors goin into admin.this was demoralizin.if lenny diznae win the double i think we should sack him.a had the treble in the bag.big mick

Agree0 Disagree0

Davo88..i'm not sure what you mean about Europe ? Do you mean actually compete with the likes of Barcalona & Real Madrid ? I think the money situation has taken care of that happening anytime soon.. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

What i meant by merely competing in Europe Mrs E, is qualifying as Champions of Scotland, only to exit at the 1st qualifier. Don't let anyone kid you, this team will not make the group stages. Forget Barca & Real, we cant beat Killie in a Cup Final. Our players are lacking a winning mentality when push comes to shove. Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Davo 88...sorrry if I've got the wrong end of the stick but I find your post a tad patronising to say the least. I can form my own opinion on football or anything else for that matter and don't need anyone to 'kid' me on. Your words were 'And for the Scottish Cup & Europe, is merely competing good enough for our great Club' and now your saying this statement means getting by the first hurdle.

Maybe's its an arrogance likes yours that's wrong..are you saying if rangers are in bother then the treble should be a given ? 'We can't beat Killie in a cup final' are your words. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Was same ref who didnt give the goal were Forrester managed to untangle ball from net in old firm game only reason he booked polaris was to save him from being banned for two games The rules are in BLACK n white so Vincent Lunny would most likely have turned a Nelson to it

Agree0 Disagree0

Mrs E, you have the cheek to insinuate that i am arrogant, yet our Manager today stated that the penalty incident has cost us the Treble. Forgive me, but is there not a semi final tie still to play? Yet, no comment from yourself? MMM, selective hearing maybe. Anyway, i also stand accused of being patronising, you state that you can form your own opinion on football etc etc etc. Well, do you not agree that our manager has formed his own self preservation Society over the last year or so? Every time we blow it in the big games, he either blows a gasket at match officials, or takes it out on his own players. NOT ONCE has Neil admitted that maybe it was he who was at fault, for say, tactics or maybe team selection. This season alone Managers from Man Utd, Man City & Arsenal have admitted they were to blame for poor results. Maybe you should have a long hard think before you accuse me in future Mrs E.

Agree0 Disagree0

Honestly..when you're typing away on your keyboard, I really can't hear you ! Its not selective hearing. Your the one blowing a gasket over getting beat by Killie, not me. I don't understand why you've not been on here before questioning NL, why wait until today ? Mrs E

I'm gutted about the result and fuming with how some of our players played. But please spare a thought for Kilmarnock's Liam Kelly whose father suffered a heart attack at the end of the game. Thoughts and prayers to Liam and his family, hope he pulls through.

Congrats to Killie , we were not at the races, too many sub standard performances, Mathews, Wilson, Ledley, Stokes, Hooper and Forrest all posted missing and not convinced about the tactics today, that's the difference between being good and great, greats show up on the big stage.

The only player i would give pass marks to was Brown.Thought he was everywhere.Too many players thought they could just turn up and win.

Plenty of possession but couldn't finish.
Killie played a perfect game and well done. Our main goal threats all season went AWOL and we saw the worst of Stokes and Hooper on such a big day.
Won't even go into Collum as we only have ourselves to blame again and send a packet of Tena Lady to the BBC comentators as I heard their bladders burst when the goal went in.
At least we cheered up Jim Whyte on Mothers Day as I've heard it said he is 'one mother'
Get yer act together for next Sunday Bhoys and all will be forgiven.

Cant say killie didnt deserve it.their keeper was unbeatable.we were a bit below par,but we,ll have our parties this season.lets just be complimentary to killie and say well done to them.artybhoy

Believable22 Unbelievable5

Never mind well done Killie. Well done to our own players who let us down BADLY. To a man, they should give this weeks wages to charity & apologise to the support. I would not get paid if i gave only 30-40% effort. And more importantly, i wouldn't have the brass neck to expect to be paid. Says everything you need to know about their character, glad to take the money, even when you let the Worlds greatest support down. Sad. Davo 88

Well done killie. Good for one of the so called smaller teams to win. Me as a celtic fan I'm dissapointed in the result but cammy bell did have a great game. End of the day we wernt good enough on the day so on the the next 2 for us. GBNL

Believable20 Unbelievable2

Stokes blew that for Celtic today. Every time he got the ball he gave it away. And he wonders why he doesn't start in big games. Simple he's s**t

Believable17 Unbelievable10

Worst comment ever u have to b from the other side.a few players didn't turn up today not just him.gutted for Lennon
Hobbybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Stokes wasn't alone. Big Vic, Ledley, hooper and Forrest were all absolutely shocking. Very disappointing but onwards and upwards. Take it out on next weeks opposition !!!

Gary

Agree0 Disagree0

Were you saying that when he was banging them in getting us out of a hole go and chill party time will come

Agree0 Disagree0

Im not from the other side. Im sayin what i saw. Stokes thinks he's better than he actually is. Yes other players didn't turn up but i can't look past Stokes. He was shocking, scores 1 freekick in 20 yet always expects to take them. Sick of him tryin fancy flicks when he can't do the simple things right. And he'll moan when he's not in the starting line up next week. Sell him

Agree0 Disagree0

Wanyama was shOcking.hooper could and should have had us on easy street early doors.artybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought celtic played brillantly just wasnt there day today you know

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic were a shambles.why change a winning team.oh thats rite lennys been doing that all season.dont get why we have to change our first 11 so much when were winning, sammy should been on from the start and expecting a 20 year old boy to start every week isnt fair on him.he needs a rest!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Stokes missed a sitter,my wee boy would have scored that chance,Lenny should sub him for next few games.Didnt even see him try for enough balls or tackles.Does he think he is payed to wait for good balls to go to him, didnt rate him or any of the forwards. No killer instinct.

Ah well that proves one thing.Scotland doesn't need Rangers to be competitive :)

Believable9 Unbelievable16

ALSO, when its a must win game, celtic bottle it .. AGAIN. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Pride comes before a fall springs to mind!

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe it confirms why we need Rangers , league is a cakewalk no competition result total complacency today .Without someone snapping at your heels all the way you just become stale and bored.

Agree0 Disagree0

This was Celtic's opportunity to show that they can handle the big games. I don't think anyone can disagree, it was fail fail.

Agree0 Disagree0

The one thing that was proven today was that neil will just not accept any blame when results go against us. I for one was just waiting to hear the referee get it in the neck yet again, and sure enough Neil didn't let me down. I thought the penalty was a stone waller from where i was sitting, but after seeing it on TV, i think the ref probably called it rite, would have been very harsh. Neil must accept we have had a decent rub of the green this season, namely goals which were not given against us against Hearts & Rangers. I don't recall Neill venting his anger at the lack of goal line technology. Neil is always banging on about getting the big decisions rite. Well, they don't come much bigger than escaping conceding a goal against your two most bitter rivals. Yet, i don't remember Neil making any sarcastic comments about referee's making more "HONEST MISTAKES". I am not amused about the loss today, but what angers me even more is our Manager attempting to deflect all of the blame onto the referee for the late penalty decision, even suggesting that the Killie defender should have been sent off. It's about time our Manager took a leaf out of Arsene Wenger's book and shouldered some of the blame, when some of the blame clearly lies on his doorstep. Davo 88 {Ed007's Note - Arsene 'I didn't have a clear view' Wegner???}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheap shot Ed, Arsene didn't hide behind anybody, be it his players or be it match officials, after his team were heavily beaten in the away leg of a recent European tie. He admitted full responsibility for the result. I take my hat off to the man. I would also take my hat off to Neil if he would only do the same, instead of blaming others. Davo 88

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsene nver admits anything, not the kind of guy to look up to

Agree0 Disagree0

As a gers fan, i do think lennon is the man for the celtic job ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Davo 88- You appear to be one of the less deluded fans on here. Well done for being "straight up" and honest about your team, and manager. Okay my club (Gers) have still a lot of sht to get through, but i for one would miss the old firm games, and the banter if we did go to the wall. Anybody that thinks different, just doesen't get the old firm thing. Simples!

Poor poor performance 2day from the lads! Missed so many good chances! Stokes never dived at the end! But fair play to Killie they played well and made it hard for us! Still onto the next game glasgows green and white

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Stokes never dived... you seem to be the only person (except neil lennon of course!) who could see from the replays whether there was contact or not

Has to be said Neil got his tatctis completely wrong from start to finish!!

Believable18 Unbelievable3

Why did Lennon take rogne off when Wilson was poor and why take hooper off when stokes was terrible?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yet again no plan B when things aren't working. Didn't see why Rogne was taken off. Wanyama's passing in first half was terrible, but he did play well at the back. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I would have brought on Samaras a lot earlier, fir Forrest.

Half and half first 45 and a few of them need to up their game or we will struggle.
Wanyama, Stokes and Hooper among a couple of others need a kick up the jacksy in the dressin room. I know it's a no a big problem but we very rarely blow teams away in the first half hour. Surely we should have been well up for this and test Killies nerve? Anyway Broonie is immense and maybe he will inspire the Bhoys to victory....

Firstly would just like to wish fabrice muamba a very speedy recover and wish him all the best.

Next would like to think if we got in to league 1 we would clear up all round us without doubt! striaght in championship we could easily get promoted from there if not first year but certainly second and nobody has yet mentioned if we got to the prem look at the money those teams are getting down there. tv rights and the lot a team finishing 15th brings in the same if not more than celtic on a normal season so how could we not do well... MASSIVE CLUB LIKE US wil attract even better quality!!

whats the predictions for 2day bhoys. i go 3-0 what do yous think. Mon The Hoops

I go fur 1-0 Killie. Premiership? Aye, sure thing! We are a disgrace. We need to invest heavily or will be out of Champions League before the kids go back to school. At least Lenny showed he cares in the interview, unlike some over paid players who cant win the big games. Gutted & Very angry. Best chance of the treble EVER. This has totally ruined St Patrick's day for me' my favourite day of the year. I will never forgive this group of players for this [Broonie excluded] I'm so fed up i'm away to my bed!

Dont know what Keiran is talking about, may change his opinion after todays shocking result, cant beat killie, well I ask some series questions about that awful display.Wonder what is going through lennys mind right now.Must be asking himself what he needs to do to install some bottle into the team on the days when it counts.Must do better in finals.NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

I have seen a lot of what's being said about Celtic looking into gaining entry into league one in England. I know there are people with different opinions but mine is if we do get the chance we have to go for it. Lets face it the standard of the spl is league of ireland stuff. With the mess R*****s are in there is the real possibility that in the next few years we wont strengthen (because we dont need to for SPL and therefore the board wont). The standard here is dropping year after year and there is no sign of improvements either development wise or financially for the other clubs. I would welcome the change and the challenge to grow and build and in the next 3,4,5 years show all the doubters down south that we genuinely are one of the biggest clubs around.

Hail hail and fingers crossed for a good victory today

Like Rangers I think you should put your own house in order first, Celtic are not that great a team, ok for spl.

Right lads, if league1 do let us join would u want us to join league 1 and risk not getting promotion? There are several good teams in championship I personal think we would be stuck in championship for several years! Just me being paranoid?

Believable5 Unbelievable10

Stuck ....... Those clubs get about 10 x the finances we get in the spl and Is playing the likes of Cardiff, Middlesborough, West Ham et etc plus being able to strengthen year after year with the finances worse than playing st mirren, Inverness ?? I see ur point mate but i don't agree with it absolutely not, sorry

morning ed. do you know why we
will not be wearing the hoops
today. kilmarnocks home strip
is in no way similiar to ours.
are the sfl sticking the boot in? {Ed007's Note - Both teams are wearing change kits. The SFL thought the home strips were too similar. It was the same in the 2001 final, both teams had to wear change kits then (CFC wore their gold top/greeen shorts).

on bbc teletext rumours that celtic are willing to start in league1 to get into england do u think there is any truth ed garrybhoy {Ed001's Note - well it is true they are speaking to the Football League yes, no idea of the details, but they are beginning to compromise if that's true. Initially they were adamant it would be the Championship!}

Ed you heard anything about celtic having initial talks to joing the english league1 {Ed001's Note - only in the newspapers. They have asked to open talks loads of times, it has always been the Football League that has had no interest in them joining. I really don't see why the situation would have changed, what would the English league clubs gain by having Celtic in the league with them? Don't say increased crowds, as very few clubs have a ground large enough for that to be of any real benefit to them from the slim possibility of one game in a season against them.}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

What happens to the teams in league 2? They are also football league. The only feasible way I can see is blue square prem. I'm a gers fan and I would rather play there than in Scotland. The OF will continue to drop in standards playing in this hell hole of a league.

Even joining the conference league would have problems, would one team need to be removed from the league or how would it happen?

Cant see any team willing to give up there place in any league for a foreign team to step in

Agree0 Disagree0

Wont happen not a chance it would open massive can of worms ajax psv, feyenoord want to go to germany, porto, benfica want to go to spain maybe even sunderland ,newcastle ,boro wanting to play in scotland

According to the daily mail Celtic r in talks with league 1 about joining next season .

Sky sports also reporting that talks are taking place with the football league.

Won't happen. Unless Celtic are going to purchase one of the current League 1 clubs, to an extent though, it wouldn't really be Celtic.

Celtic and Rangers aren't wanted down south I'm afraid. I've just been on a few forums to see what English fans opinions are on this matter and none of them have a nice thing to say about Celtic whatsoever.....and Rangers in that fact.

They don't want a bunch of anti-British supporters in their Stadiums. Just look back at the poppy banner.......what makes Celtic fans think they will ever be forgiven for that shameful incident.

Even if they do get in to league 1, if they need to relocate down south, how many of the fans will have the time and money to be abe to do an inverness style trip every weekend?
