Hearing a rumour tonight that RD and JC will both be gone by lunchtime tomorrow, with JK in charge of the team till the summer. Not sure if there's any truth in this, just what I'm hearing.

Hearing deila will definetly be sacked atvthe end of the season after being outplayed at times by rangers today. Malky mackay to be the replacement and will be given a fee in the region of 8 million to build a new squad.

Come on man really?

Where you "hearing" this from?

Of course Ronny will be away at end of season, in fact I won't be surprised if he goes this now the way the fans are! But I think he will be there till end of season then he will be off.

Now, Malky Mackay you say? Doubt it. I see how that board thinks.

Lennon will be back at Celtic park. This is no rumour, just a hunch.

Nonsense - you've just made that up! He'd never get the job, for PR reasons as much as anything! I want a change, but not for the sake of it. For the first time in our history we have to treat the managers job the way it should be treated. Everything else should be secondary, even signing players, although we need both. That team they had today didn't cost a bloody penny, the only money they spent was on O'Halloran. He's had 6 months, and I'm puking in my own mouth saying it, but they have been very well coached. Even under Walter Smith they were just full of kid on hard men and ground out every single game they played. You can tell he's worked under Brendan Rodgers because he has pretty much copied all his ideas. Ronny told us he'd spent time watching Guardiola, Klopp, Rodgers, Mancini etc etc. Well I think you can tell that spending a few days watching other managers train their teams isn't enough. I don't know how Deila's mind works, what I do know though is he'd be as well standing at his bedroom window at midnight and shouting out his instructions because the players are not listening to him! I'm not even thinking about today now, it's not as if over the season we have been unlucky, they are all simply clueless!

And we don't want Lennon back either! Unfeckinbelievable! We need to do everything short of selling our soul to get someone with pedigree! Spend what it takes, if we have to sell Biton or whoever, great do that as well. We also need someone who is a good judge of a player and can wheel and deal because we have around 45 players and Ronny thinks most of them are brilliant. The whole thing is bizarre.

Sorry Jock - I meant Malky Mackay wouldn't get it for PR reasons as much as anything. I don't want Lennon either. The football under him was average as well. I'm not going to sit and gush about Warburton, but that's the way I like teams to play. For me a keeper kicking the ball 9 times out of 10 is unforgivable. It's pure pot luck, and any coach worth his salt couldn't watch that. The centre halfs are doing it as well, Mulgrew is a decent passer, in general though its draconian, yet Deila is supposed to be a visionary! It's the old chestnut about if you say something enough people start to believe it. Nothing Ronny has said has come true! He should go and be a PR man for Osbourne and Cameron. Nearly 2 years later we're still hearing it's about small details, not enough energy, not pressing properly, - what has actually went to plan? As usual today we had our token 2 or 3 players getting pass marks, the only difference was Sviatchenko replacing Griffiths.

I agree with not bringing Lennon back and we all know that park is the one identifying the players at Celtic but I don't think we need to break the bank for a manager Ronny was obviously lawwell's little experiment and it has failed I would have loved to see Ronny succeed but in my opinion he has been working with one arm tied behind his back in term's of signings also I don't believe the players bought into his fitness regime and hence lost him the dressing room.

Why would Lenny come back? He left because he could take the team no further under the financial constraints placed on him, £8m won't look at getting us where we need to get too, end of story .

8 million isn't going to go far

its probably 7 mill more than the gers will spend and
they hope to compete in Europe and challenge for the league
and the rumours down south are correct the tic are in for a 4
mill windfall from Southampton so is the budget 8 mill
on top of any sales or is penny pinching.

{Ed007's Note - Is the £8 million for transfer fees or has that to cover all the other costs like agent fees and taxes involved in transfers?

That first half was the biggest embarrassment I've witnessed in more than 30 years of going to games. Forget the score, I'm talking about how they passed the ball, their shape, movement, etc - they controlled it as if they were playing a junior team. You can see how they've been coached, well it's as clear as the nose on your face that Warburton has done more in 6 months than Deila in 18. In that time they seem to be doing all the things that we were promised - playing from the back, controlling a game, passing at a high tempo. While all we did was punt it up the park and look for 2nd balls, and we never even got that right because the team doesn't push up enough. I was actually watching our manager shout and shout and shout for the players to press and they never done it once, that's been the story from the outset, the things he would like us to do we don't do! Every time it went back to Craig Gordon he was shutting his eyes and kicking it as far up the pitch as humanly possible. The keeper should be playing it to feet 90% of the time. I knew it was the season from hell, I knew there had been no progress, even all the little things aren't being done right either. It's actually like watching a wannabe Tony Pulis' team, but of course without the aggression and organisation. The manager doesn't learn, the players don't learn, yet he still picks them, - Boyata had 3 fouls in around 5 mins, the sort of defending you wouldn't see in a public park. Our players are all pretty average, in the grand scheme of things, but Ronny Deila somehow manages to make them look even worse than they are. I'm sure we all agree not 1 of that mob would get in our 18 man squad yet they had more than 60% possession and we're taking the piss out us at times! The only surprise for me today was just how much he's improved them, I already knew we were a disgrace!

Lets be honest we were absolutely rubbish not just today but all, season ad I blame the board for their policy of selling our best players enough is enough time to put pressure on the board and Desmond if all they want is their bonuses get rid of them like we got rid of the kelly's and white's.

Delphic. Your post doesn't merit a 50/ 50 split IMVHO. You watched the same game as me and I saw what you saw and the bigger / wider point is the performance and how we play and approach games and in-game situations. They played to a system and had a rhythm. Their approach was legible. Ours was, well ermmmmm clueless and headless and directionless.
