Not overly excited by this to say the least. Looks like we are stuck with the golden oldies for our gk options. I don't think CG will move to be a PL no2 at this stage of his career and the long contact he is on :/ . Never know. If CG jumps ship in the summer and we go for a new no1 then fine but it looks doubtful now.

I think de vries is quite well liked around the club. May be something to do with bringing through the you lad hazard. Always good to have experienced heads around, which actually there aren't too many at Celtic.

He was a prospect at Leicester City a couple of years back, but didn’t quite become a regular and moved on to
Reading after a couple of loan spells at Bristol City .
