Garry O Connor will not sign with Celtic, the 28 year old free agent today signed with former club Hibernian.

Rangers target hemeds agent tonight trying to have talks with celtic! Rangers deal is off unless he gets a 200k signing on fee! And it looks like craig whyte has refused ....
The 12m warchest is still intact all targets are free agents...........

Word is gordon schildenfeld still a target from sturm graz...... fee around 2m ! Also a striker is being talked to from abroad south american but no name mentioned as yet!........

Just got a text from a fellow man in the know:

Selim Dean Florance, Alyaksandr Martynovich, Gordon Schildenfeld, Frederico Chaves Guedes (aka Fred).

The last name on the list was the one that jumped off the phone at me. Remember Fred playing at Lyon. Outstanding striker but he's the same guy who went home to Brazil and refused to come back until Lyon released him from his contract if I recall correctly. On the football field he'd be an outstanding signing, but dunno if we need that sort of character at the club. Also seriously doubt we could afford the transfer fee or wages - smells like pish to me

Salim Dean Florance - cant find much about him online, other than he's a 17 year old right back with Norwich. Fecking project

Alyaksandr Martynovich - 23 year old Belarusian international defender. Plays for FC Krasnodar in Russia who where just promoted to the russian top flight. Sounds promising

Gordon Schildenfeld - this guys name just seems to keep popping up. Don't know much about him but from what everyone has said sound like he'd be a top signing. I'm sure the good Doctor would be happy

apparently the battery on my phone died shortly after the text with the four names above was sent to me yesterday. Plugged it in to charge late last night and discovered two more texts with more details - was too knackered to come post it last night, but here goes...

the deals for Florance and Martynovich are all but complete and should be anounced in the next few days - the latter costing around £1.5m. Deals for the other two have been agreed with their clubs with Sturm Graz accepting an offer just shy of 2million Euro's and Fluminese taking roughly £3.5million for Fred. Terms need to be agreed with both players and while there isn't expected to be any problems with Schildenfeld, it's believed Fred will have to take a pay cut if he wants to join Celtic. Either way the Brazilian WILL leave Fluminese as he wants to play in Europe again.

Apparently the deal for Fred has been in the works since January, when Fluminese actually contacted Celtic to enquire about Samaras. (not sure why this would involve Fred, unless his club were talking about a swap deal ). Anyway, their interest in Sammi has cooled since then, but celtic have stayed in contact with them regarding the Brazilian.

another player that Rangers have scouted for you... {Ed007's Note - The rumour has been going around for a few hours now, I don't know how concrete, if any, the interest is. Would be good signing if we could get him IMO}

Any news on Eboue coming to Paradise, also - what about that guy Bouhlarouz (sp?), thought he was just about to sign?
I think we should be aiming to bring in Ruchard Dunne & maybe Carlton Cole! What yous think!!??

You have got to be sh1tt1ng me......a geriatric and a waste of space.....obviously you want Dunne 'cause hes Irish but Cole....hes not Ran*ers class never mind CELTIC class....and as for Eboue, don't get me started......imo.
