Hearing that we might be getting scott parker on loan and signing charlie austin permanently

Believable11 Unbelievable20

Parker is going to sign for QPR and Austin has a potentialy serious knee problem

Agree1 Disagree0

No so sure about scott parker but hoping we get austin he wid be different class fur usand a have said on here vefore we wid get him fur 2/3million max get it done lenny asap

Agree0 Disagree1

Right ok, let's not be taking anyone on loan, especially overated players in there 30's.

As for Austin, no thanks a trouble maker with a failed medical of late, why waste the money and before people start saying about Hartson, he had a team around him that meant all he had to do was lurk in the box. We don't have that kind of team anymore so Austin can remain at Burnley and fade away.

Agree0 Disagree1

Austin awaits knee surgery which will determine whether or not he has a future in football. Not since signing Aton Rogan with a broken leg have we been prepared to gamble on signing a cripple. If Steve Bruce won't why should we?

Sunny Jim.

Both players would absolutely waltz into a Celtic first team that in 4 whole games before Brown played 45 mins the other night looked like it wasn't actually playing a midfield. Oh and between the wantaway and injured Gary Hooper, Anton Stokes, Amido Balde and the goal machine that is Georgios Samaras we looked like we could still be playing Union Berlin tonight and still not have scored against them.

Parker is a great player regardless of his age. and a fit Charlie Austin (crackpot or not) would come in and be our first choice striker.

Its neither here nor there though as this rumour is 100% mince. Not a single chance of either playing for Celtic this season between wages, knee injuries, court cases and a few other unsavoury things i've heard aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cant see either of these happening. Parker will be on a very hefty wage and Austin has blown any chance of a move to Paradise by failing that medical.

Time to show some ambition and sign Rhodes, Mackay-steven and Tarabt on loan. Still have millions left over from the Wanyama sale with more to come form want-a-way overated Hooper. Dhanbo

I do not believe it!

The only place it's mentioned is on the Celtic gossip and rumour sites. I imagine someone has decided to invent a story and everyone else has got carried away with it.
On that basis here's one for you all: Cristiano Ronaldo has rejected a new contract offer from Real Madrid to play pro bono for Celtic. The Portugeezer says he has been a fan of Celtic since his granny snogged Anton Rogan in a pub during a pre-season training camp in Portugal in 1990.
Honestly, it's true!

Well said ChrisBhoy, a complete load of crap.I have a better chance of playin in the hoops than Scottie parker, as for the guy with the dodgy knee and nae brain, more suited to the newco than us.Tarabt, are you guys serious?he would be a.w.o.l from say october to march.a complete waste of a fitba strip. FACT.how did Johnny Russell do at the weekend?lETS START GETTING REAL WITH TARGETS.al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

Austins a crocck we've already got a few of them don't need any more

Hearing last night that jackie mac has told friends he expects gary makay stevens to be a celtic player by next weekend lennon needs to boost amount of scots in his squad and sees him as the best available.

Believable22 Unbelievable15

Fingers crossed. I'd have Makay Stevens every day of the week. Think he's be a great signing, fits the budget and another young Scottish lad.

We are talking about loaning out two players with better ability. I do think watt needs his wings clipped but Stokes has had the slack too

Agree0 Disagree0

This is 2013, the days of buying scots are over if anyone thinks there is naebudy better oot there, take up cricket. al geri.

Agree0 Disagree1

He should have signed Russell? I'm surprised he didn't fancy him as a player to sign him, maybe I'm wrong, maybe Russell didn't want to sign, rather go South>?

Agree0 Disagree0

Good news but personally I'd rather get the winger barbosa free transfer and well experienced we need experience more than anything IMO. Gandalf the green

Agree0 Disagree0

Well see no post against the loaning players with better ability.

Really, Tony Watt and Dylan McGeouch have done nothing. Tony scores a goal against Barcelona and he has done nothing since. Glad to see them both go and get a full season under there belts elsewhere.

GMS or Helder Barbosa, a left footed winger is needed with some pace. Mind you a striker as well, as so far Balde looks too raw and Stokes is SPL at best, so CL will be a nightmare if no one else is bought.

Agree0 Disagree0

@4. Have it on good authority that Russell was desperate for Celtic to come in, hence the reason he delayed his medical for 4 days. To offer 750,000 in January and then not offer the same come summer is baffling. 20 goals for Dundee Utd would have been at least 25 to 30 for us. Young scottish talented and celtic supporter. As I said baffling!

Agree0 Disagree0

Kev, you are aware he hardly got a game after the barca game. NL dropped him to reserves because there were/are too many first team strikers.

Sunday rag reporting Tony Watt to be loaned out for the season. Throws in Dylan McGeouch for good measures. So our 2 best young players. I think this is a steaming pile of the brown stuff ed, especially after adding McGeouch into the story at the end. You heard anything about it?

Stevensee88

Believable10 Unbelievable17

Have heard that the coaches are tearing their hair out with watt, seems his heads went a bit. Things like being pulled aside to be given advice and he's giving it, quote, "you don't have to tell me that Danny" etc. he's had a couple of lads holidays this summer and hasn't at all looked after himself.

I believe entirely that we are looking into loaning him out.

Haven't heard about any complaints about mcgeouch- most likely that particular paper adding two and two with the usual difficulty.

Dont be surprised if watt ends up with mcinnes at Aberdeen this coming year.

It's on Hibs site that Watt is going to them, and a lot of their supporters are gurning about it, strange lot

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance this will happen, we let wanyama go, we might be letting Hooper go so what do we do? We let our 2 best prospects go out on loan. don't think so! Tony watt might be a daft boy but if Neil Lennon can give stokes a shake then watt will be no problem . Slow news day I hope

Sawney

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibby here looking for info on Watt. A post above says we are a strange lot for gurning about the rumour we may get him, yet the story goes he isn't towing the line so you want to loan out a problem in the hope he gets fixed. We just don't want that. We do want a striker but for a change we'd like the baggage left at the airport. No offence.

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd probably drive over mate

Heard a rumour that Tony Watt is going out on loan. I think we need him . Thoughts please. JK

Believable10 Unbelievable11

As I've mentioned before on this site, Tony Watt put a transfer request in last month (FACT). Something isnot quite right within the camp. Tony and Paul George were both sent home from Germany citing injuries but other factors dictated this.

co-incedence?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, forgot to post from Ballybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he does well then comes back ready for 1st team football. Good luck tony, hope to see you back in the hoops though. Bhoys got potential

Darrenbhoy

Agree1 Disagree0

I remember hearing that tony got a big head after scoring in the barca game, good on nl to put him in his place if that's the case. Only way to fix the attitude is put him in his place and then ship him, another Islam fruez maybe?

Agree0 Disagree0

Except Islam Feruz was tipped to be world class. He was the only Celtic player in recent years being linked with big English/European teams who actually went to one. Tony Watt as far as anyone can see does not generate the same excitement or harbour the same level of potential as Feruz but I do believe he can be an excellent striker for us if he knuckles down.
