hola bhoys, heard from someone close to danny mcgrain that hooper will defo leave and we have his replacement lined up already.
£8m for hooper and we get Facundo Ferreyra for £3m.
makin a nice wee profit and gettin a good young striker in his place.

I think i read that one of the moscow clubs are signing him? but would be some bit of business if we did get him ,,,,,deep river bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Think someone has been playing too much football manager here, Inter Milan are being urged to sign him and we will most likely run into problems with work permits

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh i think your right cause they have just signed 18 year old striker Arkadiusz Milik for 3million hes coming to glasgow to complete his medical as we speak

Agree0 Disagree0

Hola Sevco! Didn't know they spoke Spannish in the fourth tier!

lenny says hooper is on the verge of signing a new contract! i really hope so, would love to get another couple of years out of him at least. i expect him to be in the next England squad and i know ed you say he wants to move back down south to break into the international scene but do you think if he gets his chance with England soon he will be happy to stay? Whats your thoughts on this now Ed?
Lenny also claims left wing back/winger is his priority in Jan, if thats the case i wouldn't mind going after leeds Aidan White! looks like another matthews only on the left side! where we not in for him before?

Celticthomas {Ed007's Note - I hope he does sign a new contract, as I have said though, he has been signing a new contract for a year now and still hasn't, surely his advisors and the club aren't that far away in negotiations after this length of time. I still suspect that if a bid of £8 million is made in the summer Hooper will leave, whether he signs a new contract or not.}

Ed surely we could get more then 8mill an that the club won't sell him cheep seeing how he has been our most reliable and prolific scorer in many years. He is our top scorer and means a lot to our club so he has to be worth over 10mill to us and after nl saying 35mill is his price like carrol(I know that won't happen) then I can't see us selling him cheap.
It seems like nl will have more say in who leaves and for how much, and I think that is great because I can see him taking a hard stand on our players and demand the top dollars for them. He is really turning the club around on all fronts as I see him not allowing our club to be feeders to epl and missing out on proper epl money. {Ed007's Note - We might be able to ask for a bit more if he signs a contract extension, that would depend on Hooper though. If he wants the move so badly he can stay as he is and be available at 8 million otherwise he signs an extension but is gambling that any club will bid more for him. There is also the issue of the rumoured sell on clause that Scunthorpe have on the player.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I just read that there is a sell on which I hope there isn't, but if there is then we must make sure that we have a big sell on percentage and bonuses to get the right money.

Ed wats ur view on big Vic he's deffos of were do u think to m8. Joe bhoy {Ed007's Note - I would say that if a move to England were to happen, the strongest interest remains from Arsenal and they would likely be best placed. Whilst I suspect that Manchester United remain interested in Wanyama, both are reluctant to pay the sort of figure Celtic will be looking for in January, but given that Txiki Begiristain has hinted that Manchester City are considering making a bid for the player as well, one or both might be tempted to try and tempt Celtic to sell and the player to drop his Champions League ambitions for the rest of the season. Personally I think it will be the summer before he moves and still wouldn't be surprised if he signed a new contract to maximise his own pay and the fee the club would receive.}
