Ed, was just reading an article on the BBC which says PSG need to sell £52.9m worth of talent to comply with FFP rules. You would think the Edouard deal would have been pushed through quicker. Are we still keen to get a deal done? I hope so.
{Ed002's Note - This is nothing new and they knew the books would need to be balanced by the end of June since last summer. It is unrelated to any individual deal.}

Ed. What do you believe the price is for Edouard. I am optimistic and actually taking for granted we are getting him but would like to know the price.
{Ed007's Note - I've asked Ed002 about that before and she didn't know and more strangely couldn't find out. Going with what Rodgers said about it I'd guess in the £4.5 -5.5 million bracket but that is just an uneducated guess.}

Maybe 3 million as an average per signing? Do you expect us to get the Edouard deal done by the deadline? All quiet on that front.
{Ed007's Note - Morgan and Bain on frees will more than likely drive down the average cost per signing. I do think we'll sign Edouard and if it's going to happen it'll be well before the end of the window.}

Reports this morning saying the Edouard deal is imminent. Would be great to get this deal done asap.
I thought the way Griffiths was talking 4 weeks ago his new deal was also imminent, hope that is also just down to people being on holiday.

All BR said when asked if the Edouard fee was £7million was along the lines of “I won’t tell you what it is but its not that” - could be higher, could be lower?
Some clubs announce when they have broken their club record on a deal so maybe we will too, if that is indeed the case.
If Moussa stays I think they could form a good partership, perhaps with Eddy playing slightly off the left.
Still think Griffiths is a big player for us too - its a squad game after all.
