I think this deal makes no sense whatsoever why give them money plus two players 1 of which imo is better than the player coming in??? The only thing I can think of is that celtic are buying this player to wind up rangers up and then giving them 2 players to help them win the league if that is the case then who gives a f£&ok mwahahahaha

The deal is as follows. Allan to celtic 275,000.
Mcgeouch to hibs not disclosed.
Henderson to hibs loan.
None of these deals are dependent on each other they are all separate deals.

Said it a few times but I'll say it again! Our transfer business over the past few windows has been nothing short of embarssing! Brown biton gms Armstrong mulgrew Forrest commons Johannsen rogic mcgregor Henderson! That's 11 midfielders! And we're buying another! 1 left back ( who's been utter pish by the way) no cover brought in! 4 strikers,2 of whom have no future with us and 1 who's banned from playin for us! A striker of quality not brought in! Am I the only one who doesn't get this? Please tell me if I'm missing something here!!

Well said old bhoy get behind all new players and we definitely need somebody who can spot a pass just as much as we need a striker to get on the end of them but must admit not to happy about Henderson going on loan if true would love to see this bhoy get some game time as I think he could turn out to be summit special

We've all seen this lad play. He's a prospect, hence the fee. Give him a chance, he has a talent, maybe not like Paddy McCourt, but with a little more guile than is usual in our leagues. If he makes it, super. Henderson I thought we'd keep looking at, but its obvious he's not getting in Ronnie's team these days.

A never said a wouldn't support him. Once he pulls on the hoops he's one of us, who he supported as a kid doesn't matter to me as long as he does his best. Ma only worry is that a don't think his best is good enough. Couldn't cut it at west brom, nuff said.

I think the boy is a good player who can spot and pick a pass , he would be a useful player , but whether he could turn his back on Sevco is another matter , but there again a cheeky wee bid of £500k+ would stop them getting him!!

Hearing that Scott Allan is at parkhead just now, not sure how accurate or if it's premature, was on the radio at 2.30.
True or not, he's a good wee player and I think he'll do well wherever he plays nxt.
He's just not priority for us just now, I really hope we've got a decent striker coming in because it's getting embarrassing now!

Could be right Bigbadjohn Seen on s** sports website that celtic apparently will have the deal wrapped up in the next day or so. I don't mind of we get him decent player will only get better. Just hope he's followed by a striker too.

A mate of mine (Rangers fan) bumped into Scott Allan in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago and asked him what was happening with his transfer from Hibs. Allan told him that Stubbs isn't selling him to Rangers purely because he played for us and that he "would never go to Celtic". Decent player but I'd rather see Henderson getting more opportunities
